The seats look amazing! I am sure you will enjoy them. However damn you for posting this and making me think once again that I need this upgrade immediately. Every time I get seat covers off my mind someone posts an awesome pic and it starts all over again.

    Oh man, same.

I was actually looking at some clazzio's yesterday with heating kits. Personally, I don't care for heated seats, but since the Tundra lives outside it takes a while to warm up so it would be more for the wife. I'm sure I'd enjoy it as well, but I'd be fine without it. But by the time I'd get them and installed it would be warm / hot for the next 10+ months. So might hold out for a while.

Well, I got that the seat covers were Katzkin, I didn't know they offered a console cover as well. They didn't mention it when I got my seat covers last year, otherwise I would have added that.

I don't see one on their site. I'm getting ready to contact them to see if we can get one and I'll post back.

Yeah, I was just looking too and don't see a center console. Can't really navigate the site in depth, just select a style, enter zip and contact info.

I'm sure most upholstery shop could do it though

I got the vinyl material and brought it to a local upholstery shop to have done. Cost me $85 labor

Yes, the bearings got noisy around 65k miles from eating too much dust. It’s a huge PITA but can be done through the passenger wheel well without removing other components. Now I have a spare for next time. I think it was around $450 from the dealer for the new alt.

I had seat covers on mine too until I pulled the trigger on this. Seats are definitely firmer now and have good support. Heated is definitely worth the small up charge considering cold leather is not fun

Congrats man. I’ve got a 2006 OG Ridgeline that’s been paid off forever. The best vehicle is a paid off one. It’s been a great little truck, 230k miles with zero problems. No longer fits the needs, excited to join the Tundra family and get to where you are with a reliable paid off truck.

Looking for a 20/21 Tundra limited TRD crew max in cement color with graphite/black leather. Originally was leaning towards the TRD Pro but the limited fits the needs better.

Finally got the new shoes on. I kept the stock SR5 wheels as I didn't want to put out another 2500-3k for new wheels. I went with the Wrangler Duratrac (as that's what we have on the 4Runner), and I've been partial to the Wranglers since my first Toyota Pick up back in 85. Went with the 185s (from the 175); have a 1.5" spacer was going to use, but really don't need to, have plenty of room between the tire and upper arm.tundra new tires 4.jpg tundra new tires 3.jpg tundra new tires 2.jpg Tundra new tires.jpg

dont let the interior kill a deal for ya. A leather kit from katskinz is a pretty straightforward option for these trucks.

Thanks! Don’t mind traveling for a deal, they are out there. I plan on keeping it 10+ years so primary concern and getting one from somewhere that doesn’t deal with winter weather/salted roads.

Great point, totally agree. If the deal is worth it would be open to it. Stuck in Denver for training till early February. Soon as I get back to Florida it’s game on to find something. Pumped.

Wrapped the roof Satin black today. Led bulbs installed domes, map, footwell, cargo, license plate. Also swapped in some Philips xtreme vision halogen bulbs. They’ll do for now while i decide on which headlight housing route to go. TRD pro grill is next!!

That whole system was a wild ride.. We live in Mont Belvieu and I work there, too. My wife works for the City of Baytown and they had two touchdowns. Crazy to think there were 10+ confirmed touchdowns within about a 30 mile radius. The storm itself was intense where we were for about 45 minutes, but the tornado near us was about a mile away. Definitely abnormal.

Installed the RCI transmission skid plate and catalytic guards this afternoon. Went on pretty easy by myself but doing more and more mods makes me wish I had a lift.

Pretty much un-noticeably different, 285/65/18 (from 275/65/18). Didn't want to put $$ into new wheels and a lift yet; have other things that need to be done first. Going with the Wrangler Duratracs gave a better look from the standard road tire that were on there though.
