    A tornado got me 1/12/23

Moved the truck from my driveway on the left

to the neighbors on the right

it’s totaled and was hauled off now I’m waiting for insurance to tell me how much it’s gonna pay me

That sucks! Really low mileage too. Going to try and find another 2nd gen or even a 2.5 gen?

Jesus that’s crazy. Glad you and your family are ok. Living in Boston we get snow and a little bit of everything, but luckily not tornados. It’s amazing the damage they can cause

Dang, sorry to hear / see. Here’s to hoping that the insurance payout is generous, and Tundra shopping is easy. Assuming you’re getting another, otherwise, goodbye. I don’t know you. :boink::rofl:

Seriously though, it is a good time to reevaluate if a Tundra is still the right fit. Similar to how I went from a Tacoma to my Tundra, and am happy I did.

The contractors say New everything. Roof, windows, doors, siding, and the flooring in the front 1/2 of the house.

Fighting with the adjuster now,he’s being slow and cheap.

we lost our 24ft enclosed trailer picked up and smashed 4 houses down, above ground pool, privacy fence, storage sheds, riding lawn mowers flipped upside down, and more

    category 3 165mph winds it’s horrible here

I’m looking at this picture and can’t even wrap my head around it. Glad you and your family are all OK. But damn, that’s a lot to deal with.

Which brings me to my question: Is there anything you need that we might be able to help with?

Glad you and you and your family are OK, that's what is most important. It sounds like that thing did some serious damage, I pray you come out with upgraded home and pickup. My condolences to you on your very well kept and upgraded Tundra.

On a side note, I'd be keeping those trailer axles and either selling them or building a new trailer.

we are thankful to be alive. It could have been much worse.

thank you for your kindness. In a perfect world we could use 2 things

    1. Stop raining and being windy for a little while. We’ve only had 2 dry days since the incident
    2. My job to grant my leave

other than that we are glad to be safe and will just patiently move through the other things
