It's cool, I don't expect anyone to go through and make comparisons. The game should arrive today or tomorrow so I'll be able to witness the awesomeness soon.

 

So I loaded up Breakpoint to find the Terminator event, but the first mission that came up was Bowman talking about Sam Fisher. Apparently there's a Splinter Cell crossover, too.

 

Yeah, that one is in there too, they mention he's out there and you gotta find him or help him. I can't remember if you get anything cool for completing it.

 

Saw some in the wild for the first time yesterday. The Earth is healing.

 

If anyone is looking for a co-op game to play with their significant others or kids 'It Takes Two' is fantastic. My son who is 6, got it for me for Christmas so we could play it together and it's so much fun. Great puzzles and very cool environments.

 

I almost want to go visit my local store and buy another one just because they're out there. Almost...

 

How necessary is it to defeat the Valkyries in God of War before playing Ragnarok, other than for story? I'm debating if I should go after the remaining Valkyries first (I've defeated 2 so far), or just jump into Ragnarok?

 

Just jump In, they do not contribute to the story whatsoever. You'll get some gear and trophies but nothing else.

 

Well, they were fun to beat at any rate. Last one's a tough fight tho.

 

I do intend to go back and defeat them, but I'm itching to just jump into Ragnarok.

 

Not remotely necessary. Just bragging rights.

My 1st PS

 

I defeated 2 so far, Gunnr and Olrun. I didn't think they were that tough. I'd read you need to be at least level 6, but I was at level 5+ and didn't even need a resurrection. Although Gunnr gave me a problem at first because I started the fight without any rage. Got her down to 1-2 bars of health a few times before I decided I needed rage lol. Came back with rage maxed out and it wasn't much of a contest. But I read the others are significantly harder, and of course the final boss apparently causes real-life rage.

 

That vid has been on my watch list since long before it released. The marketing video for the game never impressed so I’ll wait for a huge sale in a few years.

What platform do you play on and was the game stable? I play on Xbox and a lot of the initial reviews complained of bugs.

 

Good intel, thanks. I played #4 (Straight outta Gat?) a few years ago and it was worth the sale price…but that’s it. Think I need to find #3 and play it again

 

And made the driving mechanics good.

 

My favorite GTA game is Red Dead Redemption (2 in particular).

 

Plus "Bo-Duking" a car to steal it is awesome.

 

Dangit, Steam gets me again. I own the base game on Ubisoft, but I hate their launcher. So I grabbed the Ultimate Edition to get all the goodies since I've been wanting to do a replay anyway.

Speaking of launchers, I remember Steam was basically the devil when they first came around. And now I consider them the gold standard of launchers. All other launchers suck.

It is if you like tactical shooters, but Wildlands is still probably the better game in the series.

 

They're basically "digital" (I hate that term) game store/library manager apps for PC. They have a store you purchase from within the app, and then a library to manage/launch the game from, and some even have their own community and chat capability. It amounts to the same thing as a game console desktop/GUI, except on PC it's an app.

On console, it would be like having the main Playstation GUI/XMB with of course its own PS Store, but then say Ubisoft doesn't want to play nice and makes a game that isn't available at the PS Store. So you would have to download the Ubisoft app, create a Ubisoft account, and buy the game from the Ubisoft app. Then to play the game, you have to start the Ubisoft app (aka launcher), then also start/launch the game from the Ubisoft app.

The problem is, we don't need 10 of them on PC.
