@SAGE63 where was that closure you posted about last time you went out? Do you have a way point or can you mark the approximate location using a screen print of any online map? I know some people going out to do some scouting in advance of Superstition— I’d like them to know, if you can share. Thanks

I will see what I can get you Sunnier. basically from fish creek side in you go past the two narrow passes for tundras ,big rocks in the way. then it is closed at the up and over rock falls. do not know where from the west side in.

Sandstone Canyon doesn't have a west side in that was ever legal.

Someone on Trailsoffroad marked the closure as 32.989545, -116.233796

@Sunnier , according to my GPS tracks, this is where we turned around during the May 2021 run.

That’s the spot where the trail closes.

There’s an obstacle that was a lot of fun just past the sign, would have been a challenge to get a 2nd gen or newer through. It was open when I had my Tacoma and needed to slide along a rock to get through it.

Don't jinx it or I'm going to have to drop them off for babysitting with you. Funny you say that because my wife said few days ago that it would be nice to have another one. I ran out of the house like it was on fire.

Tell your wife you’ll think about it for a bit..

get the ole soldering iron out, wait a couple weeks, then go back to your wife and say “been thinking, honey. Yup, I think we should go for 3”. Will be a grand old time

Gold Fever trail was a disaster today. Went to Delamar and it was awesome and empty.

Just watched an Autozone employee struggle to identify an HID bulb, didn't identify the bulb and tried to sell this lady a regular low beam bulb, She didn't buy anything... so, I kept it to myself since his attitude was about not being at work... BTW got free M1 gear oil at this same store as well.... cashier scanned my stuff I swiped my card, it beeped got a receipt and walked out... A couple days later, I looked at the receipt and said transaction cancelled, cash purchase... maybe skimming the till

Exactly, it wasn't even 8 o'clock and his expression and heavy sigh told me everything... I work with someone like this, and I give him the hardest time in the world, and ask him a ton of questions, cuz I'm not trying to do his job for him..

cut him some slack. he's working a shitty job he hates, no reason to make it worse.

anyway, blair valley trip was chaotic. my kids are great camping buddies on their own but so difficult when together. still got to do drive in some dirt, splash through some big mud puddles, build a fire, eat s'mores, stargaze... even when it's absolutely nuts it's still good to get out. it was so cold at night! had to have gotten down to freezing. i was a little surprised and very annoyed at the amount of ground fire scars and trash around the valley. ground fires everywhere, such a bummer.

Woah woah woah. Didn't know you liked Converge! :rockband::headbang: That makes up for you not liking KO2s :p

Great pictures though, I ended up in Borrego on Sunday, hit a few trails and saw some flowers. Mud wasn't as bad in the lower valley as it was three weeks ago.

I’m looking for the grill surround and hood bulge in black. But no rush and only willing to pay illegal-basement-sale Homie discounted price. :anonymous:

Edit: same for suspension take-off: super low miles, super inexpensive or “almost free”. Basically, spares for Bruce, so when SoCal, NorCal, or AZ homies want to sell their trucks, they can swap out the good mods to sell separately.

Yeah i'm not selling, i'm offering if someone needs to go back to stock. If i switch from the Black grill and surround, you have first dibs! I'm debating on going back to the stock grill, and loose the Toyota emblem :)
