I love those wheels unfortunately I’m too cheap for them lol.

So what are her measurements again? I get they are 18’s but what tire size, offset and any lift/level?

Tires I’m running are toyo AT3 35x12.5R18. Wheels 18x9 +20. For lift I’m running Westcott Front preload collar only. Stock rear.

Polished Titanium Methods plus 18 with Falken Wild Peaks stock tire size. 265 70 r18. Rides like stock. Little more poke than I wanted but not too bad. Got my 2023 Tundra SR almost about two weeks ago and already put my first 1k miles on it. Today I got my 18x9 Moto Metal MO970 with a +18 offset wrapped in some 275/70R18 General Grabber ATX on stock suspension.

These are sick! What’s your wheel size and offset? And what tires?

Are you running a lift or leveling kit? Any rubbing?

    Thanks!

A little before and after wheels, tires and tint. SR5 Off-Road Premium 295/70R18 +18 offset Vision wheels, Falken Wildpeak A/T3W. No lift, no level. Had a little rub and pulled off mud flaps and pulled back the felt a little, took like 20min. Shocking how much room that adds in the wheel well. It went from rub, to easily an inch of clearance. I think I can run chains no problem like this.D176EB4A-9F96-475B-88E6-FA6DBF8EA2EA.jpg

I'm hoping to get those same tires tomorrow @weign. I wonder how you like the AT3's and if you notice any MPG hit from OEM? Is your truck TRD? And if I may continue with some questions...do you tow with it and what have you found if anything with the AT3's. Thanks for any thoughts on the AT3's.

1794 off-road on the way. Keeping the stock 20” wheels, no plans for a lift or level, and don’t want any risk of rub. I want to fill out the wheel wells but not look stuffed. What would be the best size given what others have done? (And any issues with 11.6” width on straight stock?)

    275/65r20 = 34.1x10.8
    285/60r20 = 33.5x11.2
    295/60r20 = 33.9x11.6

20x9 w/20 offset, tires are cooper rugged trek 275/60, no lift no rubbing. Wheels were 33 lbs each I think and tires were 47 so about 80lbs a corner. Drives fantastic, I"m quite happy with it. Little poke, not too much. IMG_8831.jpg IMG_8827.jpg

Thanks for the feedback and pics! I believe this solidified my decision.

    295/65/20 Toyo R/T’s with Weld Latch 6 20x9 +20 offset on the Wescott 3/1.

I’ve got a Lunar SR5 TRD Sport on order and I think this will be a good start…

I went with 295/60/20 and no rubbing at all. Same truck as yours but a limited. I eventually will go 295/65. Edit: I kept stock 20in TRD off road wheels

There is a lot to be said for sticking with the OE wheels, I have 295/60/r20's with aftermarket wheels on mine and have had some rubbing of the front mud flaps.

Has anyone weighed the 18" TRD offroad wheels with Michelin Trail tires? I am wondering what that setup weighs compared to the beasts that I have now.

My Toyo tires are 60 lbs and flow formed wheels are 26 lbs = 86 lbs per corner and the spare as well!

I am guessing that the OE TRD offroad wheels are about 35 lbs and the Michelins are about 45 lbs making the original weight at around 80 lbs?? Has anyone weighed theirs and can share that info?

I understand that my new setup has more rotational weight at the tread which adds load under acceleration and deceleration. The tread also has more rolling resistance than the slicker Michelin. I am sure that there are other MPG hits that can be added up when changing to more aggressive tires.

75 lbs for the TRD Pro wheels and tires looks great! If I had those wheels, l would have kept them as I really like the BBS stuff!

Sorry, I just read that you referred to 20” wheels, I didn’t know those were forged too?

These are not the pro- they are the all black forged 20’s that come on the limited and 1794 off-road editions

I had my takeoffs just sitting here so I put them on the digital bathroom scale and got 70.2lbs for wheel and tire, no TPMS. These are the 265/70R18 Michelins off the TRD Off-Road.
