About $90 is what I have paid. My two years is up in about 45 days so time to start gathering parts to do my own oil changes.

 

It has been gratifying doing my own again

 

Well boys Baja run complete we head back tomorrow.

I changed my dad's oil on his Dodge the other day, last minute before a trip.
The drain plug was so tight, I couldn't get it loose with a 3/8" ratchet. Had to hit it with my 1/2" impact.

It’s funny how narrow the stance looks when you’ve got it fully airborne and everything is at full droop.

I'm thinking the CBI's don't need the kick-out since the width is already there. From the looks of it, as long as you're running a stock offset the edge of the slider will do exactly what you're looking for. Their design just doesn't taper towards the front. Not as sexy as other designs, but I like the wide step and maximum door-ding protection.

 

Yea hit that at about 65 and had more in it didn’t even use all the travel lol

The shit you know about these trucks, maybe you can help them design some new products. Trade all that knowledge you have in on some kit.

I spent some time looking at their roof racks. Nearly drip-drooled onto my computer. One of those would definitely be on my list if it didn't kick me out of all the 6'10" parking garages I use. Plus, I think you have to drill the roof right? That's a big no for me.

 

Yeah - most roof racks require drilling. There’s one out there - spyder or something - that doesn’t.
And yes, roof rack (even naked) = no parking garages

 

I really like how my CBIs run full length to the rear fender well on a double cab. So many stop a few inches short.

 

Sometimes a few inches makes all the difference in the world…

 

The more I look at those, the more I like em!

Yep. There are a lot of good options. This one seems to be the right balance of function, protection and price. If money was no option I’d get the RCIs…

 

Ooohhh… RCI’s shipping prices have dropped. Now that is interesting…
