I could not find a specific wiring connections (with picitures) that applies to my 2011 Tundra. I've tried every forums and pictures available but I cannot make the lihts coe on. Bothe fog lights work before install. Maybe my Tundra is not connected from relay to my "A and J" connections. How can I troubleshoot?

I assume the green is a ground you are borrowing? Is there a switch between the red wires?

If you have the fog relay and fuse in place it should be working assuming the red wire is going to ground.

My man, that is not going to work. The Green wire you are using is a Power wire from the Tail Fuse to power the factory puddle lights in the mirrors.

The other end of your switch has to be to ground. The way you have it now you are sending power into the blue wire to the fog relay. Doing so will not make the relay close so the fogs will not come one. You have to take the blue fog wire to ground.

I figured I was connecting it wrong (green to blue) but I also tried just the blue wire to ground and no light. You think I got (tapped in) the wrong blue wire? The blue wire in your picture is at the bottom but according to the diagram it calls for J4 and that’s where I got lost. Sorry, I’m not savvy when it comes to electrical work. I’m to the point of buying a harness. Thank you guys for not giving up on me!

Low beams is what I would try with.

Do you have and know how to use a volt meter?

Did you upgrade your fogs to aftermarket? I can tell you that when I installed the Morimoto fog lights on my 2015 Sequoia, the red wire on the lights had to go to the (-) port in the OEM terminal and black wire to the (+) port. I spent about 10 min trying to figure why I didn't have lights come on as well...

Great point Charles, take the voltmeter and measure for 12v on the connector going into the back of the fog light.

If you don’t have power at the connector to the fog light, I can go through the steps and show you have to check the relay operation

When I checked if the fogs were working, I did not take note or notice if the prongs position (pos to pos and neg to neg) matches the pre-wired female harness. I will try that and see.

The harnesses polarities are correct/matches fog’s polarity prongs.

But do you have power at the connector?

I have power to fog relay when switched, 12 plus volts. Is this what you mean?

Then your problem is between the relay and the fog light connector.

The switch and dash wiring just controls the relay on/off

If the relay is closing properly it’s then just simple power delivery from the fog fuse through the relay to the fog light.

Make sure you understand how the relay should function and verify it is in fact closing. If it is then you can isolate the problem somewhere in between the relay and the actual light
