Was rubbing like crazy so I brought it to my shop and pulled the bottom section of the front wheel well liners out. It was rubbing the worst in that area and needed a quick fix to drive it for the time being. BMC done today also. What are you guys with factory front bumpers doing for the liners? I want to put them back on for obvious reasons, but wondering what I can do to gain more clearance in the front without totally doing away with the liner.

For my 21, I took the angle grinder and sliced away 2-3 inches off my front caps. Any way to trim the 09 bumper?

Thinking about hopping on 37s from my 35s, one thing that comes to mind though... aren't the factory toyota CV shafts rated for 37s?

From what I’ve seen, a lot of us do use OEM unless if we can dish out money for RCV. Those would be the major upgrade for your drivetrain component.

Accutune Fox DSC front w/ SPC UCAs, Alcan custom spring pack and Accutune Fox DSC rear. 37 Toyo RT Trails on Method 312s
    Question!

I've read this thread now a couple of times and have finally decided to step up to 37s. I am running 17" Method 312s 0 offset on Icon coil overs with SPC UCAs and Icon RXT stage 3 leafs. I have an aggressive SDHQ BMC and even have a LCS Fab BMR that has yet to be installed, still have to address the pinch weld. I will be going with a 37x12.5 Cooper STT Pro.

I've seen some guys say set caster to +4 or 4.5 or even 6.

Now for that question I mentioned earlier LOL

What is the idea caster? I know the 0 offset will hinder me so a higher caster will be better, but do I just shoot for as much caster as possible where my UCAs are set (setting D +1) OR do I set the UCAs to setting A and shoot for 6+ caster? My caster is currently at +3 and I am running a C4 Overland bumper, so I have plenty of clearance in the front of the wheel well.

I guess my concern is, with +6 it will get me furthest from the body mount and footwell, but will the LCA bushings be so twisted up that they fail prematurely?
So do I just shoot for 4 or 4.5 or say screw it and go for 6.

I realize I'm probably over thinking this but I want to do this once and be done. Somebody give me some insight! LOL

Hoping to adjust UCAs and get an alignment the end of this week so looking for that ideal solution.

You'll most likely rub at pinch weld at most which is going to be a mandatory mod to do, unless if you're looking to install the BMR. I think Dave (@Vizsla) has fit 37s without hammering the pinch welds.

My caster is at 6.7* with OEM front bumper and bumper shims. But seeing your case, with a C4 bumper, you shouldn't have any issues up front. You could adjust it to setting A and play around with it. Probably have the tech set the caster, then see how much clearance.

Push caster far forward as much as possible through LCA bolts, and then adjust camber, then toe.

I am getting a pretty bad rub at full left lock on the driver's side. The shop does not like the idea of shaving the weld more.

Anthem wheels at +20 and Toyo M/T 37's.
Had to go +20 because I have SDHQ wide fenders and bed sides.

    Hey everyone

Just finished reading this whole thread. Seems to be some mixed reviews on the offsets, suspension, and bmc.

Let me see if I got this right, in order to fit 37s on 17" wheel with a 0 offset someone would have to do more plastic, pinch well, and bmc cutting than compared to a +25 offset?

UCAs the SCP and Icon Billet are best for this set up? I was wondering would it work just as well with other brands such JBA or TC. How about the stock UCA.

Suspension, i read you can have 37s on stock height? Or is the minimum height 2.5"? Would it work with a spacer lift for someone that has a pavement princess and does live in the city. I understand others prefer coilovers especially if theyre offloading.

    Thanks

I have a similiar setup to yours with SPCs. I am running 4.5 caster and clear the body mount even with mudflaps. Anything past 5 degrees of caster isnt necessary unless you want it...
