No oil pressure

I have no oil pressure on my 2005 Tundra crewmax. What could be the reason for this

What details do you need

 

Check oil level and report back. If good, I would expect issue with oil pump, fuse to it (if one exists) or just a bad gauge needle (or sensor to it).

Not sure how to check it's actually running and working. Someone else here could address that.

 

Does it have oil?

 

Is the engine running? At what RPM?

If proper amount of oil, the issue could be Oil Pressure Sw, Oil Indicator Gauge on Combination Meter or it's circuitry.
If you have a VOM(volt ohm meter), check the Oil Pressure Sw down by the Oil Filter according to 2005 FSM.

 

Is it just your guage reading low? They run low normally.

 

On older trucks that may be true, but on the '05-'06 it definitely rides closer to midway.

Mine always rides 1/4 until on throttle. Then half

 

I'd hafta check mine, pretty sure at cold start it sits around the 1/3 mark, then slowly rises up to that spot.

 

Ground out your connection to your oil pressure sensor and see if your gauge pegs.
