I need to do that in this truck. I had done it in my ‘08. I want to put l-track where the factory side rails were too

    Not sure at this point.
Thanks! I still have to clean it up. Eventually a spare and a stroller will go back there… LOL.

I may look into the Milwaukee pack out to cover the two empty spaces closes to the cab.

Packout mounting plates would make a difference for securing it. Packout is worth it 100% IMO.

I sell packout at my job. Even die hard dewalt guys who said they’ll never buy any Milwaukee product are buying the packout system because of how good it is. They are worth it 100%. Depending on what one you go with they sell foam blocks that you can put in and cutout for “tools” and other stuff.

6112s arrived yesterday set at the 3rd setting. Will be installing them with shims along with icon add a leaf pack for the rear in the next week or so. Got a carrier bearing drop, diff drop, and brake/ABS line relocation kit to go along with it. After that I've got some 17 inch Icon Vector 5s that I will be wrapping in who knows what tire at this point. Kind of want to go 295/70 but am undecided.

After going through my 2nd set of Rigid boxes in 6yrs I just dropped $700 on a full set of Milwaukee Packouts. They are that good.

The kaizen foam is great. Did these two packout toolboxes a few years back and they've held up well:

I don't think so. Mine is not. I bought a heat gun that is arriving tonight. I plan to take a plastic trim tool and get under it and pull it up and apply heat in hopes to pop it back up.

New part is like 500 bucks so I'm trying this first. Seems to be a common issue.

Google Tundra Windshield Cowl, you'll see images of other trucks like this. I've read a few old posts about this.

Been meaning to swap the crappy amp lights out on mine as well. Did you just cut the plug off the vleds n tap into the amp harness?

Thats exactly what I did. I used the 3in light bars and they put out plenty of light.

Plenty of light? You can tan under your truck now.

Though when you said AMP step, I initially thought the one on the bumper.

Finally installed my front and rear TRD sway bar. I have the TRD Off-Road package. It didn’t even come with a rear sway bar, so huge difference in on-road handling. Bumps even feel better IMO. I know it will perform more harshly on loose roads or off-road , but I am okay with that.
I also got Valhalla Shields - aluminum (thickest) with black powder coat front and back shields.
I mentioned I did a full VLED swap and now I have the dreaded key control range issue. Any idea on how to fix besides going back to the old bulbs?

The culprit to this issue is the 2 cargo bulbs. Did you get the Non-RF bulbs for the 2018 and newer?

Looks great, I’m interested in the rear sway bar for when I tow. From what I understand, it’s the LED’s in the third brake light / cargo light housing that cause interference the most. Maybe an alternative solution there.

Did your N-Fabs not come with any plastic caps on the tubes? They seem to rust out a lot quicker without them. Just a heads up. :)

LOL it may have and I probably discarded them thinking they were just there for shipping purposes! Oops :x
Damage probably already done - I've had them on for about 2 years. I've been thinking of swapping to RB20's for a better platform for my two kids to get in and out. Plus the steps aren't helpful when it comes time to wash my truck :\

Those are the right ones. Turn the cargo switch off for a few days and see what happens. There has been some posts where a few members switched the cargo lights to the GTR Lighting bulbs without issues. The cargo bulbs are the only ones that are known to interfere with the range because the receiver is mounted in that area.

I shot VLEDS an email for support, I will turn off the dome light switch and test it to report back.

I will try the GTR if the VLEDs don't feel like they're going to pan out.
