When I got my new setup, I got the guys to take the original ones out of my OE wheels and put them in my new wheels. Only 3 months old so they said no problem. My TPMS is working as it did before with no issues.

Am I missing something ? When I look for these tires all I can find is 57 pounds and up . I can’t find any that come in at 47

Finally got my wheel set up sorted out. After digitally mocking up like 12 different wheels I finally decided to go with the KMC KM719 17x8.5 0 offset with 35 12.5 17 General Grabber ATx.

Those look amazing. Looking to get 35s on my TRD Pro as well. NO rubbing at ALL at lockout?? That was my main concern. Not even a bit with slight articulation while turning? Any feelings on the speedometer changes?

What did you end up doing? I am on the fence about 35s now for EXACTLY your concerns, I literally wanted to keep everything stock except the rubber with no rub. Not sure if im going to pull the trigger though. Did you have any issues? Did you do anything about your speedometer?

Keep in mind different tire manufacturers/models have different dimensions.
Some 35’s are 35 and some are more like 34.8 (same can be said for width) so specifics mage a difference

Why is 35” a thing when 34” tires like 295/70/17 would look great?

I have BFG KO2s 35x12.5 on my '23 stock pro with no lift. The BFGs are actually 34.5. Very minor rubbing on inner edge of left mudflap at full lock to left in reverse only. There would be no rubbing if I removed or pinned back the inside of the front mudflaps.

I ran 275/65/20 for years- 34x11.5x20 and switched out to 35x12.5x17. It is a substantially larger tire and fills out the truck much better

No wheel spacer, stock suspension, no level, no pinning back wheel liner, zero rubbing.

Anyone definitively know if I can reuse the stock tpms & lug nuts from oem styled steel wheels onto OEM aluminum wheels?

My tire shop took my TPMS out of my OE wheels and put them in my new aftermarket wheels. The lugs depend on the wheels they are securing. A test fit would clear that question up. My truck is basically new so they didn't have an issue with the TPMS swap. If they are older, they might not want to use them. If you are switching wheels, ask the installer what they will do for you.

Put some BF Goodwrench TA KO2 275/65r20 on my currently stock 23 limited. No poke or rub. Wanted to go 34" on 17s but didn't have the funds for new wheels and tires just yet.

whats the advantage of going 34 on 17" when you now have 34" on 18"s?

If that was to me I have 34s on 20" rim. Going to 17 gives me a lot more sidewall. Generally I understand wheels weighs more than tire, so the combination should weigh less on 17s. With 17s you can air down in mud and sand a lot more to get better traction than with 20s since there's more room for expansion. If I hit a curb while parking 17s are much less likely to hit a rim. I like the look of more rubber. If i had 18s I'd be much less concerned.

Sometime it’s the wheel you want doesn’t have the offset you want. I just ordered some method wheels and had to get a 17” to get it in 35 offset.

did your truck come with the factory Yokohamas? How do they compare?

I want something more aggressive that will be better in snow, but don’t know if I can justify pulling the trigger. OEM Yokohama’s seem decent.

The Geolandars did poorly in 4+ inches of packed snow, even in 4wd. No issue with the AT3 4Ss in 2wd.

I think the Geolandars would have been better for towing/hwy use though I don't have real experience since they got replaced right away.

Hey guys, just got a 2023 Tundra SR5 Off Road Premium with 18” stock rims. I’ve been going through the thread and I want to make sure I’m understanding what works with stock suspension set up.

I do not want to lift or level at this time. I would like to stay on 18” wheels and would like a little poke if I can get it.

285/70R18 fit no rub on OEM wheels
    - Are these really any taller than the stock 265/70R18 though?

up to 295/75R18 fit with OEM no rub if you remove mud flaps and tie the inner fender back a little?

there’s also a lot of discussion on going +18 on aftermarket wheels. What does that gain though? Isn’t that pulling the wheel in more?

    Thanks in advance.

    - 285/70R/18 is going to be about 1.1" taller than stock and 0.8" wider than stock.
-I've seen guys on here with 295/70R/18 on stock wheels with no lift, and the tires don't rub. I believe that's the biggest tire you can go with stock wheels and suspension without getting rub. Not sure if that size would work on aftermarket wheels, i suppose it depends on the width and offset of the wheel.

+18 offset on aftermarket wheels will stick out further than the stock wheels. I believe the offset on our stock wheels is +60

I believe you are correct about the highway driving & occasional towing. My experience has been they offer a smooth drive although the look of the tire is bland compared to all terrains.
