I'm looking into installing 1.5 spacers on my pro. It seems like Spydertrax or BORA is the general recommendation. Any preference? Reviews?

From what I've seen and heard on this forum, Spider is the way to go. IIRM @csuviper has spiders.

    I don't believe Spidertrax's makes 1.5" spacers ... just 1.25".

I called Spidertrax and it's confirmed that they don't have 1.5 but Bora does. I had an itchy finger and ordered 1.5 from Bora I was also given 10% off being a forum member

I'll keep y'all posted with pics

Thank you for the input @Law323 and @r4z0r51o

You shouldn't have any issues with Bora ... I've got their spacers (1" up front and 1.25" in the rear) and so far so good.

I went with 1.5 all around. Crossing my fingers that it's going to look good

I have bora 1.25" spacers. I called in and asked if they had any promotions since I'm military they said they would give me free shipping and he would send me the invoice. I got the invoice and it was full price with shipping... tried calling back and nobody answered that day so I just bought it anyways. Horrible customer service but good product haven't had any problems so far

I also called and nobody answered, however, my phone call was returned based on caller ID. At that point I placed the order over the phone and received the discount of 10%. I paid $232 with shipping.

If I'm charged differently on the invoice, I'll address it accordingly. Either way, I will let you guys know.

A bit late with the "review" but, I'm running 1.25" spiders w/ stock wheels. Absolutely no problems after almost 10k. I think your Bora's will provide similar results.

Yeah, when I had my OEM wheels combined with Spidertrax 1.25" spacers I had no problems with clearances. I doubt that 1.5" Bora's will present a problem.

I'd love to see some pics of 1.25" spacers on stock wheels with stock width, 275, tires. I've got some on the shelf but haven't installed them yet as I don't want the tire track outside of the fender but right inline. Pics?

Spydertrax 1.25 here on stock wheels with 285/65R20 KO2's. Great combo! I did notice a bit of increased road noise. May just be my imagination, though.

FYI, I received an email from Motorsport-Tech/BORA

    (Copied from the email)

Thank you for your purchase. We greatly appreciate your business!

We know that you are going to love the quality of our American Made Wheel Adapters/Spacers, which are made in-house on American Made CNC Haas Machines, using only the finest American Made Metals. As you can see, we obviously believe in America!

Your parts are backed by a Lifetime Warranty, and we build each order specifically for you and your vehicle. Your invoice number is engraved on each part, and we keep very accurate details of every order. So, if you break or cross thread a stud 1 year, 5 years, 10 years from now, we know exactly how to fix or replace it, FREE OF CHARGE!

SHIPPING SCHEDULE - Please be aware that your parts will be in our machine shop for roughly 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS, and this does not include weekends. And, if your parts are to be anodized, this will take an additional 1-2 BUSINESS DAYS.

We are capable of rushing an order if you are in a tight situation and need them faster than outlined above. If that is the case, please call us at 775.351.1000 to make special arrangements. Please be aware that extra shipping costs will most probably apply. We are capable of getting orders done in as quick as 24 hours, in emergency situations; in this case, a rush service charge will apply.

95% of companies that sell Adapters/Spacers mass import cheap, pre-made China products and have them sitting on a shelf ready to ship. We do not do that. We want all of our customers to be 100% safe for the entire life of the product, and this requires that we take the time to build parts in a very careful and precise manner - including identifying each part - with quality control and safety of utmost importance.

Once an order is built, engraved, anodized, studded, properly wrapped and boxed, our shipping dept will email you a tracking number. We typically ship with UPS or USPS.

If you need to call us with questions, or to expedite or speak about your order, please do not hesitate to do so.

Again, we appreciate your order and THANK YOU for choosing our product.

I had the 1.25 spiders for about 6 months on stock wheels until I began getting the worst vibration ever. One afternoon coming down from a local mountain the vibration was so bad it felt like my lugs were loose on a tire or all of them for that matter, Vibration was only during braking so i took the truck to the stealership expecting they would blame the spacers, they did. The tech replaced my brakes and turned rotors, no more vibration. Dealer also said made it clear to keep the spacers off as they would not warranty any further repairs caused by the "huge spacers" as he called them. I have been itching to put them back on. There is a local well known shop in the area that specializes in alignment and brakes which I may visit for their opinion. Perhaps an install, balance and alignment would prevent any future brake issues..... anyhow this was my experience.

I would recommend any that are hubcentric (not sure if boras are or not, but I know spidertracks are)

Installed my hubcentric 1.25" spacers from fleabay. Everything went together great and I can notice nothing different when driving.

Some pics down the side with stock width, 275 Nitto G2 tires. The tires are right to he edge - just what I was looking for.
