Boom! Look, I wasn’t in a hurry, but they sure took their time (2.5 weeks) some of which was not their fault (broken equipment, snow storm, holidays). But at the end of the the dealer service team was great to deal with and I was in recovery mode from my surgery anyway.

My wife said it looks “boss”, which I’ll take! She snapped this pics on the lot, so I will take some glamour shots when we have better weather.

I am still a few weeks from being able to drive it, but will post about that as well.

35x12.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on the stock 20” TRD OR rims. Very little poke.

Looks great. I am excited to get mine levelled! I agree that your truck is “boss”

I will do a suspension of sorts this year!

Nice man! That looks awesome. Can’t wait to hear your driving impressions once you get back in the seat. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

I prefer smaller 17 and 18 inch wheels, but the black trd 20s are starting to grow on me a little. I mean they are good quality I already have them and you can wrap big tires around them.

Just upgraded my 16 pro to a 23 plat and had them put the TRD lift on. Stuck with 285/65 R20 BFGs. Super happy so far. Gibson Elite exhaust and Go Rhino E1 boards go on this weekend.

@bballjames did you have front mud flaps? It looks like in the pictures you removed.

I am having a tiny bit of rub on mine and may try to trim vs remove - but curious what you did…

You know - I have to be honest. I have no idea. I went back to the single picture I had of my truck the day I bought it. I can’t tell if there are mud flaps on there or not. Doesn’t look like I have them now though either… do they come standard? Maybe the dealership removed them during the install and I didn’t even notice.

Also could be your tires are slightly larger than mine. You went with 35x12.5s right? Those would be about 1/2 inch larger than mine. Not a huge difference but might be just enough to make it rub.

Yeah, I have no clue. Maybe they are standard on the OR? I don't know. I did go with the 35x12.5s. It basically only scrapes the inside corner, so I am just going to take them off and trim them and see if that solves it.

I still can't drive, but my wife took me for a ride in it this morning. Feels really nice, can't wait to drive it - especially on the beach and some off roading. Also feels so much taller....its a beast now for sure.

Agreed. Definitely feels like a real truck! I’ve been just loving mine. And honestly I have not seen a significant drop in MPG yet…

I have been able to do a couple dirt roads and it handles and rides fantastic. Super pleased with it.

I think next on my list will be the TRD skid plate and maybe some other under armor. Along with the MTS button at some point.

I didn’t consider an exhaust mod until you mentioned it. I did one on a Sierra that I used to own. It sounded great but the highway drone at 65 drove me nuts and caused glares from the wife. I researched Gibson and Magnaflow. Let me know what you think of the Gibson from in the cab.

I think the ride is better but a lot of it might be the higher sidewall tires.

How you liking the lift? I have had mine for a few weeks now and am quite impressed with the trd lift. Running 35”s no problem as well

If I missed it please point me to answer. Has anyone compared the measurements of a Wescott 3/1 to the TRD lift kit? I know the ride quality is better with the kit and have read comments about the ride with the Wescott lift. I’d like to hear from someone that has had experience with both.

I am supposed to take delivery by the end of the month and am trying to line up which way I’m going with the lift.

I'd reframe and ask you what's important to you in a lift?

Is keeping your warranty and safety systems intact important?

I am loving the lift so far. I think it still rides great.

The exhaust has a drone to it but its not any louder then my 16 PRO, just different sound. I have always had custom exhaust on my Tacoma's over the years so the V6 sound is something I'm used to anyways. 100% better then the fake noise that I turned off.

are the fender trim color matched? I'm trying to find those but they don't come up. Toyota keeps asking me for a vin number that has the parts I want. Any chance you'd PM me the last 8 of your vin? I want to get the door handles, trim around the wheel wells and the color matched left and right rear bumper that are chrome one mine.

The fender flares are not color matched, they come in shiny black on the Platinum, just so happens he has a shiny black truck to make them look color matched.
Here is a Midnight Black Platinum vin: 5TFNA5DB4PX072090 give that a try...

In hindsight...for me it would be the investment in TRD lift and in fairness the two are not in the same category ...that said, I don't have experience with the TRD lift..yet..

Thanks! I have a midnight black limited with platinum package (basically interior. I'm still not sure the difference.) I appreciate it. Mine are shiny grey. Looks good, but I think the back would look better.

Yeah same here, I thought it would ride harsh but to my surprise it rides damn near stock while looking sexy. I have the trd exhaust on mine and it’s about perfect sound for me on a v6. (Nothing beats my 14’ 5.7 with the magnaflow)

you mean this? The dual tip? I was thinking about getting it. It really helps/changes the sound that much?

I had the TRD dual exhaust on my 2014 1794, but it was out both sides.

The lift looks amazing on the Tundra. So I am consider adding it to mine. Problem is I read the whole thread and maybe I missed it. But I read in different locations that it will and will not be compatible with my truck. I have 2023 Platinum 4x4 6.5 bed hybrid.

    Thanks for any info

I can’t see the image on sparks but I am fairly certain that is the one, it’s not like on our 5.7 with trd exhaust out both sides but looks nice and provides a little more exhaust note

I don't believe you can get on the Platinum due to it having airbag suspension.
