Feeling like I missed something… I admit I rarely read threads in the “general population”

Both companies make spacer lifts but when someone mentions rough country people lose their minds and say that you might as well just light your truck on fire meanwhile if someone mentions wescott designs then it's just accepted as a route you can go with your suspension needs. Also, I didn't realize Mr.Ferguson had wescott but....I mean....he does have a pool so....

Good morning everyone. Back from my trip...will post pics at some point. It's a PITA to get them off my work phone since Airdrop is disabled.

Trip went really well, but British Airways still does everything possible to be marginal. We were delayed for two hours leaving Seattle, which meant we missed our connection at Heathrow. BA rebooked us on a different flight, but it was on a competitor at a different airport. When we arrived they handed us a $10 gift card to use in the airport only (that day too; it expired the next day) and said "bye". Thankfully our flight was 5hrs after our arrival, so we had plenty of time to arrange transport to the other airport 90 minutes away...

No mechanical issues on the return, but it took them 90 minutes to load the luggage and other cargo. Probably had too much cargo (airlines make a crap ton of money hauling mail and other cargo when they have capacity) lined up and everyone got confused...

Anyway, glad to be back actually got some good rest last night so hope my transition back to PST won't be too bad.

To their (Westcott’s) credit - the quality of parts between the two is substantially different.
Is the TRD Pro coil preload collar considered to be a “spacer lift”? I was under the impression spacer lifts were the stacks on top of the whole coilover assembly…
God forbid we start scrutinizing the coachbuilder shackle lift…

The Westcott kit uses the collar for additional spring preload and also a top hat spacer for added lift. I think it’s a 3/8” spacer on top. Basically splits the difference between the two lift styles. I’ve actually been very happy with mine, but it’s also on TRD Pro Billys, so a bit different than the “Off Road” or OEM lift kits they’re doing on the Turd Gen.

    Gotcha
Yeah - I have been very happy with it on my Fox set as well. I forgot there was a small shim on top too. And the Coachbuilder +2 and RAS (SD) in the back have been a great combo. I do need to put some better bump stops in the back though.

Had my BFG AT KOs for a year now. Lost 1/32 of the tread over 10,500 miles (2k of towing). Pretty happy with that!

Had to go to our kids friends bday party earlier so wife and I were at the gym by 8 followed by the bday party at 11. Today is the only nice day for the next week (53*) with three weak storms coming in, so drank that while washing Sonic

Not really. Local beer is pilsner-ish, so even the good ones are not memorable. Tried two local wines; one was amazing and the other meh. Food was good but didn’t get anything “local”. Stayed in a french-owned hotel chain so the food was heavily influenced by butter (soooo good).
