Hello, now to the forum. Been using it as a resource for a while, but this is my first post. I just bought a 2006 4x4, limited DC with 89k miles - absolutely love it. Anyway, I'm looking for some OEM, oak color, floor mats. Anyone have any for sale, or know where I can get some? Been looking for months on eBay and car-part and haven't been able to find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All I can say is "good luck!"

I've got a brand new set of darker mats (pic) but the dye is patchy, they're probably for Access Cab only, and there's no way I'm letting them go less than $250 shipped :D

I posted about a nice set for $50 in December 2021 over here, and brand new set for $130 shipped DC back in April over here, then another in July over here, but they're long gone. I've seen a few, a set pops up on fleaBay every quarter or so, you just need to be patient!

Colors were different year to year, and cuts were different cab to cab, it's something you need to be aware of.

If you've been floating around on here for a while for reference, I'm guessing you've seen these threads already:

@Shifty Did you ever run into the OEM all weather mats? I knew I should have bought those new when they were $79 and that was expensive in 02. :D

Mine actually has the all-weather mats in it now - I just prefer the carpet mats. I'd be willing to trade someone who has a carpet set in good shape.

That’s unusual. I’ve never heard of going from the all weather back to the carpeted mats. Guess I can’t see the appeal.

I live between AZ/CA, so I wear sandals most of the year, and end up driving barefoot. I like the feel of carpet as opposed to rubber while driving. Not the end of the world, but if I can find a set I'll be stoked.

Guess that makes sense. Never thought about it that way.

Only downside to the all-weather is, they had a defect where they split with age, usually on the base at the thinnest part, between verticals. At this age, they tend to have at least one or two long splits on them from the ones I've seen float up on fleaBay. Possibly repairable? I've dreamed about buying a set just to mold and re-pop, but I don't have the resources available to make it happen even if I landed a set. And it probably wouldn't be the correct config for my truck anyway.

I'd just be happy to find a rear Weathertech set for AC trucks in black. Only rear mats I could find last time I looked was for the DC.

They were really decent being thick color matched rubber with the ability to capture and channel water to prevent the carpet from getting wet.

They were usually an OEM add on you’d buy separately from the dealer back when they sold the trucks new. I haven’t seen them sold in a long time.

Best pic would be from the color brochures for the truck when they sold them. Didn’t someone post a link to the original brochures here?

I swear someone listed a pair in badge in the 1st Gen Marketplace within a year or two before I finally broke down and joined the forum. Maybe one pair after that point.

There's a set on fleaBay that's going on its 2nd listing cycle right now (relisted last night) if you want to see them or buy them. $115 shipped. I think it's about $25 high.

Go there and search for 295546566298

Here are some pics for posterity's sake ... these look to be in good condition, but they tend to eventually crack and split on the bottom side of the mat, right along the thinnest part of the valleys, based on what I've seen in other listings.

I'm gonna assume these are for access cab trucks, based on the shape of the rear mat.

I'm guessing from the look of them, they don't cover the dead pedal area you rest your foot on the left? That's my big gripe with mats today since it's the quickest area to wear down on the carpet.

At least the carpeted OEM mats I can flip and cover that area. The only other aftermarket that does a good job covering it are the older Huskies that are now discontinued.
