5 years as a PA-C, working in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine at a Community Clinic. Previously an EMT and Cardiology Tech. Prior to that was a Field Engineer(ditch digger, form setter, broom pusher, painter...anything that I needed to do on my jobsite).

The whole opioid and fentanyl epidemic...I work to combat that every day and try to keep the really crazy and mentally ill folks safe. Couldnt be happier w the work.

I helped build about 100 of these in 2010-2012. Used to work at the factory in north Texas. Worked the 802 production line and then on the 402/502/602 line.

Was fortunate to grow up just down the road and be very connected to the business. Mr. Snow was a great man and I was lucky to know him on a first name basis.

Have family members who still work there.

Just got a brand new 2023 calendar the other day.

That’s cool man! I love Airtractor, they build great airplanes and have great customer support. I’ve been to the factory myself.

It’s a cool place huh! I can’t count the amount of hours I spent in that factory even as a kid.

Customer service/parts guys are awesome. I used to pack and ship parts to all the dealers/customers part time while I went to college. Then went on full time building fuselages and working in R&D. Was lucky enough to help build the first 802U back in the day hidden in the R&D department.

I'm a County Mail Courier. It gets me out of the house and provides me with great health and retirement benefits.

I'm also the business manager for my family's structural engineering company. It's great to be able to take care of my family and be able to have money for fun.

The 802U is an awesome plane. I’ve flown the ag version and it’s definitely a beast!

Since I am here reading this thread I will share as well.

I am a professional engineer working in Forensics/expert witness reconstructing automobile accidents. We do a lot of work for big trucking companies, oilfield companies, severe passenger vehicle accidents (insurance companies) and even a train wreck or two.

Generally work all over Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico.

All for civil litigation/personal injury cases that can sometimes lead all the way to a jury trial for a verdict.

See lots of wrecked vehicles and roadways. Been to numerous junkyards for vehicle inspections including almost every CoPart and IAA in Texas. Lots of cool treasures hidden in these places.

Side note: the amount of data new vehicles record is insane. We do a lot of ecu download work to see driver inputs/actions prior to and during accidents. Speeds, Brake input, Steering input, Throttle, RPM and more are recorded. Those infotainment systems are also really “smart”

Toyota safety sense data is really cool to see also. In a few particular cases we have extracted photos the forward facing camera took as the radar sensor detected a threat/collision.

I recently changed from a parts department manager to a qc lab tech for a boutique lubrications/oil company. Definitely a huge change and never thought I would be here. Sucks I'm making way less, but the stress levels are completely gone. It's been weird going from a decision maker to being just an hourly punch jockey. IDK if this is where I will be for the next 20 years, but I do miss the days of being involved with transportation.

This reminds me about a recent vacation in Savannah GA. Got b’fast at a biscuit shop and they asked you for your dream job rather than your name. The guy in front of me said “Snoop Dog’s blunt roller” it got a good laugh when they called it out.
