@Diode Dynamics I installed my new grille and light bar. I will say you guys shipped the backing plate with #8 screws and they were too small for my new OEM grille. I bought #10 3/4” screws and they worked great. Just fyi

I just ordered some amber fog lights to match as I wait for my CBI covert bumper. Thanks for all you do

I had same issue and had to scramble to find some screws that would work since I had everything taken off already. Seems like it's common issue and I tagged @Diode Dynamics before but no response so idk...

How are you switching your light bar? Manual switch or off your head beams?

I have it wired up to a Trigger4 switch. I control it via my phone or the wireless controller they give.

Thanks! I was one of the first to get the kit so I found out early on and tagged you a couple times, even created a separate thread, but I can understand that it might get lost as you probably get a lot of mentions. I was more of just here to inform you for future orders so other users don't run into same issue as it's a hassle to have everything taken apart and then find out the screws didn't work, especially if it's your only vehicle. I was lucky that I've done several installs and have left over screws that I keep in case of emergency. Still love all the Diode Dynamic products that I've purchased before!

I had the same problem, screws didn't bite into the heritage grille.
A frustrated trip to the hardware store later, and it was fixed.

I’m trying to find the lumen output/ difference between your fogs and my oem ones. Are yours twice as bright? How would you describe the difference? Thank you.

Any recommendations on installing the round duel switch on the OEM square switch?

I popped mine out, drilled it out with a 5/8” bit until I could get it to sit flush. Cut all the plastic out of the blank with some scissors.

Im not sure if it is twice as bright or maybe more but you will immediately notice that they are much brighter and spread much more than stock

We currently have two 2022 Tundras here at our HQ for installation media, comparison to stock media, and output data.

While the OEM fog lamps are great from Toyota, our lamps do outperform them!

When this information is processed and available, I will be glad to share it here on this thread.

So obviously not a professional output of light or anything close but I installed the SS6 ambers and the ambers alone are much brighter than stock. Plus a better beam pattern too. Still need to adjust them. But once I do I’ll post a pic. They aim a little low currently. Hoping I can get them to tilt up a bit more. Wishing I could adjust them with the grille piece on.

Since I can't find any pictures online, here you go. Pardon the mess. I used the tape as alignment and take close attention to the corners and center. The truck did not move at all during this test

Are the fogs bright? Yes, look at the center
Wider than oem? Slightly shorter, but that's ok.

Were you on the fence about getting these? I hope this helps!

Brighter and wider beam output than the factory fogs.

What is everyone using for their buttons for the light bars they are adding. Is it true that the factory button will not work with the hook up for the diode dynamics light bar? I know cali raised has an option anyone else have others that will work? If the factory one works with DD light bar does anyone have a part number.

    Thanks in advance

    This is what I used:

    https://raveoffroad.com/collections/3rd-gen-tundra-2022/products/trd-light-bar-dash-switch

I would caution though it’s not a high quality switch and the blue illumination is not the same as factory. I have a pic on another thread where I did a review if you want to see.
