    Hello,

I noticed over the past week that Toyota prices have went up. Specifically the Tundra limited I have an allocation on went up $900. I got an allocation in November for the old price, it’s being built in a few weeks. I reached out to the dealer and they said they still show the old price in their system. Has anyone had this happen to them? Does Toyota print the window sticker for the price of when the dealer got the allocation? I’m worried the new sticker may print the new price, but I have the spec sheet with all the old prices on the day the dealer got the allocation. It looks like all models rose in price. The dealer had a Tundra same build on their website, and it’s higher than mine but with the same options. Seems like I got in at the right time?

I got flammed big time by the 3rd gen buyers for saying that Toyota should not be increasing the price of these Tundras because of all the problems that these vechicles have. Well for the record I do not own a 3rd gen tundra but I stand by what I have said. Fix the problems than I have no problem raising the price.

Welcome. Offer to pay the new price and be a hero. $900 is chump change. A few lattes at Starbucks.

I agree! I initially put a deposit on a 2022, and then had the option to wait for a 23. Hoping since I waited, along with production already a few months in on the 23s that I will not have many issues. I know all cars aren’t perfect (coming from GM especially) so I assume there will be some things that come up that will be worked through. But when the 23 came out a few months back they already raised the prices, so within a few months another price increase hits. Just hoping my build sheet price stays the same and doesn’t have this new MSRP price that came out a few days ago.

I’ve bought two during price increases and I’ve always paid the window sticker

Were the window stickers the price before the price increase? Since the allocation was in November before the price increase, I want to think that the sticker will print based off that? I have the spec sheet the sales guy sent me and it’s the price from November. It’s also on their website for that price. Just not sure what will happen once it gets the actual VIN.

Yup. As long as it’s allocated before the price hike you’re good is from what I was told.

my 23 platinum msrp is $995 lower than now. That’s crazy and there’s no financing options

Good to know! And yeah I realized the price increase when I was on the build tool. And no finance options is crazy as well! My dealer luckily allows external financing so I will probably be using a credit Union.

There’s a broker doing 4-5k off msrp + 1k broker fee. I though he was sales but he just brokers a few

    Lots of stuff!
From Sept to Jan (~4 months) our MSRP went up abut $7k and interest went up about 2%. This is based on what I found on the Toyota.ca website. Prices are climbing quickly!

    Hello Ajt116,
Down here in TX the jump from 2022 to 2023 was 2k for the base truck (platinum). I put a deposit on a 22 platinum back in November but it got QC'ed at the port and got sent back to the factory. Dealer had a 23 coming in and i told them i would do it if they matched MSRP on the 22. At the end of December they wanted to move the 23 so they matched the price on the 22 so i just pick up my 23 this weekend.

I think they should honor the price you agreed to.

Good luck with you new truck.

When I gave deposit in May of 2022 I was asked to sign an agreement if Toyota increased price I would agree to pay it. Well I got my 2023 1794 at end of November with about an additional 1500 bucks on it. Not the dealer fault and it sucked but got exactly what I wanted

They just found some chump willing to pay more than MSRP so they needed out of your deal, that's all.
