Cut off wheel will make short work of that.

That would be correct Mr Sena. Careful with the guard off.

I take the guard off of all my grinders as soon as I open box lol. They get in the way and you can't see what you're doing. But I agree it adds a little more danger into an already dangerous tool lol

Please be careful. Did it come with a guard? If so, then use it

yea, it came with a guard.. actually believe it or not.. before I was a bartender I used to be a concrete finisher for about 7 years. Work was super slow from recession so stated bartending.. but I used girders a lot back in the day.. Grinding walls and cutting steel out of stuff.. but I've never done anything like this.. had to get some new bolt tops..

I was going to trim and do the exact same thing. But I figured out I needed to trim after I already got my corner pieces painted. So opted not to trim. Like to see your results tho! Good luck!

Still got to maybe round off the edges but shit, took me about 30 mins total once I got started.. plus lift shop was gonna charge me about $200-$250 for the job. I just bought $3 for screws and $10 for a metal blade.. no more rub in full reverse :amen::bowdown::burnrubber:

One of my supervisors over in okinawa was grinding aluminum with a flap disc. The disc blew up and it's shredded his hand. Damn near lost it. So I feel for you man. I hope all is well with the thumb.

I'd rather shoot myself in the foot trying something I've never done before than have a shop screw me over on something as simple as this!

    Solid work brother!
