I purchased this adapter in October of this year, and while it works, I've decided to get an upgraded stereo for my Tundra instead. It comes with the OEM USB Retainer as well

Everything works as it should and the setup is in great shape. Instructions can be found on the website linked below and their customer support was great when I dealt with it.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Price is $300 shipped to lower 48.

This can be wireless for Apple CarPlay? I have a 2014 platinum JBL unit. Will it matter JBL?

During the initial setup you need to plug it in with an Apple cable. After you set it up, then it can be used wirelessly. I used it that way with my 2018 Tundra and my iPhone 13.

AFAIK, it should work with the JBL Unit, but that would be a question for the manufacturer. It doesn't differentiate on their webpage, and mine isn't the JBL unit.

Ok, I put out a email to see. Thanks for answering. This seems exactly what I am looking for if it will work with my JBL radio.

    thanks

    No worries.

I'd wager it'll work because it's just going through the AUX function of the stereo, but it's best that you reach out and ask.

    LOL

It's 4 plugs. Three are for the stereo, and one is so you can tie into the factory USB plug under the HVAC controls. On their page, if you click on documents, it shows the instructions in PDF. Pull the 10 pin, plug the truck 10 pin into the harness, and then the harness 10 pin into the stereo. Repeat for the next two plugs. Unplug the grey plug for the USB cable, and plug the truck USB cable plug into the adapter. I did have to adjust the dip switches once, but the instructions tell you how to do that as well.

The hardest part was pulling the stereo, if that says anything.
