    Tried Searching but couldn’t find.

Can any platinum and up owners confirm their crewmax rear doors have built in sun shades?

And if anyone happens to have those part numbers or could provide the part numbers.

I assume they may just be built into the top padded are rest. Unsure about the top hooks.

    Thanks!

Yes, the shade is built into the door... Not sure how you will be able to add it to a limited. Sorry no part numbers

I have a Capstone and I'm pretty sure all Capstones come with them standard.

Thanks. I’m actually wanting to go about possibly adding at least the passenger side for my daughter to block out more sun.

they are built into the door skin so you’d need that and the clips that hold it in place. Got a 1794 for these and my 2 year old just rips it off every time it’s up. Oh well, baby number 2 coming in July will use it

    Lol!

Honestly, I didn’t even know toyota had these is the tundra. I saw them in a Capstone video. Seems a little to complicated and costly to convert.

I’ll just do a suction cup shade.

Thanks all. I purely want the shade for my daughter. Looks costly.

Yes, I have a 2023 Platinum and the shade is built into the door. Not sure about a part number.

Had a similar issue when my dog got one and broke the plastic off

the part number for the clip is
65988-0C020 with description of hook, sunshade

paid $19 apiece for 2 of them to have one spare

used a skinny flathead screwdriver and was able to easily remove the old one. The new one just slides in and locks into place

The plastic handle was broken (the guy with the red circle in the photo) and the shade slipped inside the door. Do I need to remove the whole door panel to fix it? Any recommendation?

I'm a little late to the party (as always) but the Peasant shades are a must!
It's mandatory that Geeves puts them up for me when he drives me to work:monocle:

would be easier to just go with a darker tint on the rear windows, had rear shades on our previous vehicle and never used them due to tinted windows.

Be great to have them on all four doors but I realize we're not smart enough to use them "responsibly" on the front doors. Toyota's legal department would pee in their pants.
