So I added the power folding mirrors from a 1794 to my 2015 SR5 CM and the LED turn signals work, but the blind spot monitor lights are always on. Is there a way to turn these off since I don’t have BSM?

Someone will chime in on the BSM but what was involved with upgrading to power folds....switches, wiring, etc.

Mirrors of course, switch, wiring and plug pins. Not that complicated if you know basic wiring. Found the mirrors for $80 on Offer-up. Switch and wiring all was about $65, so $145 total.

Not terrible on the install, just wires and pins. See you’re in Charleston. Lived there for 5 years, and love it!

IIRC, some of the pins at the mirrors changed throughout the years. Might need to move the truck side pins, but you'll need to know which year mirrors you have to make that mapping. I only recall reading about it while doing my tow mirrors

    Good luck

I believe it was a 2020 1794 where the mirrors came from and I have a 15 SR5 with only heated/power adjustable mirrors, not folding.

This was the most helpful link if you follow the breadcrumbs, especially if you also search for the sail panel mod for the BSM feeds. I think combined you'll have what you need to determine if you have unintentionally run power to BSM portion of the mirror. I'm assuming that is the issue, but someone else will need to weigh in. My research wasn't focused on your issue specifically, but I hope this helps. Happy 2023!

I'd first try removing the mirror glass and see if it is as simple as unplugging it, much like the mirror heat.
The mirror heat has a spade connection on the back of the glass.
To remove the mirror you pry up from the bottom and it pops off.
I would pad the tool to pry it out with a plastic dash removal tool.

Or you can butcher it out as this guy did.

If not, here are the BSM wire colors on the mirror plugs, you could either pull the pin from the connector or simply cut it.
I would test the wires with a DMM and make sure that the pin in the plug is indeed the one causing the BSM light to stay on before cutting it..

Wire colors are the same for 2015 or 2020.
N5 and M6 are your mirror plugs in the door.

    It should be pin 18.
