You might spend too much time at a place when the bartenders invite you out for New Year's Eve..

Thanks but no thanks I'll be sleeping by 10.

That was Fing awesome! I loved the bedazzled Chrysler 300 that needed an airbag.

I mean, we ultimately want you to have your own truck, but you can ride passenger in someone's rig if you really have to fly.

Ball's in your court now, can't back out.

Pennsylvania to Boston is a long way to drive to save what, $100? for the leg to get you there in order to fly to London.

It's an 8ish hour drive, straight shot across 90. Cheapest at booking was another $200-300/ticket (I'd need 3) and I still have to drive 2 hours to Pittsburgh.

It was actually cheaper to rent a car from Erie to Boston and back than to pay for parking at Logan.

Wow, that much? I stand corrected.

You can also park at a Logan Shuttle bus stop in either Braintree or Woburn and pay $14 for round trip tickets (might be slightly more now) to get you to the airport and back.

Something worth looking into doing, IMO.

I get dirt cheap rentals through the University so it's actually pretty inexpensive. I want to say under $200 there and back.

Last time I was in Boston though I was really impressed with the shuttle service from Logan.

I have friends that will drive 3 hours to save $200 on a plane ticket. I won't do it unless the savings are significant. Flying to Vegas was $1,000 less from Nashville so it was worth the drive. Usually I'm so worn out after a trip the last thing I want to do is get off a plane and then drive for hours.

Amazing how much you can save with a couple hours of driving. I have relatives that refuse to goto Logan unless absolutely necessary. They’d rather park at TF Green airport in Providence, RI or drive to Manchester, NH and fly out of there because they hate Boston traffic.

Time is money. At the very least your personal time is worth whatever your overtime rate is, because that's what you have agreed to sell it for. At least that how I quantify the value of my time. If I can take a two hour flight vs an 18 hour drive, that 16 hour savings pays for itself. :plane:

I have to agree, hate Boston traffic - they drive so slowly & the whole car on hwy is expected to yield to oncoming traffic nonsense.
Yall need to upgrade 'yer driver training. :duel:

Ah, but how much is your time (or sanity in case of an 18 hour drive) worth if you’re unemployed?

If you're unemployed can you afford 18 hours of driving a Tundra in the first place?
