It was mainly my Sunday driver. Took it out maybe once a week. I do not miss detailing it though.

I am. Though, I would be in better shape. Not sure guys doing that get paid enough, and I definitely don't like being on call.

Decent, but I think they could pay me a bit more for what I do. I’m not going to poke that bear yet though. It’s all about timing.
I have had other employers from those 17 years and absolutely hated it. A few years ago every time my phone rang at night, (frequently) my heart would just speed up as I knew I was going to have to wake others up, get dressed, take a ride in and assist.
Now? Rarely do I receive a work call / text past 7P local time.

Only spent a few hours at work this morning, got the problem fixed.

Changing out the infamous Sequoia rear hatch handle. My second time since ownership.

I like  but then again when you "wheel" a '63 VW bug ( 6 volt), '79 Ford Fiesta; yes , the original German one with 12" wheels :p and then move onto your Toyota's for the next 41 years :monocle:

Drive 'em like you Stole 'em...

Never mind the Diesel's that turned 1 million miles as you traded them in  :p

I will purchase New for my wife if I can not find a "deal" on a certified but for me....nope ;) At 61 years of age , no DEBT makes me and my bourbon collection happy :hattip:

Debt free is nice, for sure. I think I'll have to pull some in the next few years to build some sort of shelter on the property. Mobile homes don't last forever. Grateful for the roof over my head, but very much wanting something more... substantial.

I've got just a couple of years on you, but yeah, no debt is awesome. One more new car for my wife before I retire in 2025, cash. Tundra is staying until at least 2033. We'll see what is available then. But then again, it might just be an oil change and keep on trucking :mudding:

Just me, so it doesn't have to be much, but I'm speaking toward actual structural stability. I'm a shit handyman. No guidance growing up, so I am the schmuck that pays people to get stuff done. Not the best memories of the current dwelling either, so being rid of it will be cathartic. Might see if I can legally burn it down when the time comes.

I didn’t have a father in my life for 15 years. When I did, do you think I cared about handy skills? Nope. Girls, driving. Sports, and work. Now? YT has taught me a lot. I’ve repaired, replaced, installed etc a lot of things over the years thanks to it.

We will move again once the youngest is old enough most likely. I want my ranch house, no stairs (other than to basement) 5+ car garage, and an acre or two until the wife retire. Fortunately we purchased in 2018, for a house “ready to move in” being built and locked in at 2%. Now? No way.

I want a ranch style as well. I hate stairs. Don't want a basement even, but couldn't anyway. The water table is too high on my property and basements flood. Not a headache I want.

    Hey now,

It might be from the "Stone age" when I "visited" out there ; winter '79... looked at WYO technology and that was what our dorm's were supposed

to be , but they made the mistake of letting me drive my 1st Peterbilt 359 with the Corvette dash  :D
As they say , the rest is History :hattip::hattip: :burnrubber:

We built our forever house, single level ranch style. Only 3 steps in the garage and 3 for the front porch.
