I don't know where else to turn at this point. Hopefully someone you have experience with this one and can point me to a place like Rockauto for trailers..

We need to find brakes for a 2006 T@B Clamshell and I'm striking out everywhere. I'm told they are 6.25" manual brakes.

Why don't I know what I'm talking about? Well, it's not my trailer. It belongs to some very close friends that will let me borrow it if I can help find the parts.

I'll buy you a beer and be eternally grateful if you can help. Thanks!

E-trailer dot com is pretty much the RockAuto of the trailer world.

I can honestly say I’ve never heard of trailer brakes that small, and the “manual” part has me confused. Is it just parking brakes? Or do you mean surge brakes?

I'd really like to not be so ignorant to the situation. Unfortunately, I just don't know how it's setup. The trailer is tiny-I'm surprised to hear that it has brakes at all. If I find out anything more, I'll update this thread.

Nice find! That Al-KO chassis manual download posted in that thread has good info of what is likely the system in question

Wow, mechanical surge brakes. I was thinking to myself “who in the world…” and sure enough, it’s a British system.(I may or may not have enough British blood in my veins to say that)
