I'm looking for a bed side molle panel. Yes, there are a ton out there, but looking at pictures, they are designed for the crewmax. Does anyone have a lead on a panel that goes full length on a double cab?

None of the companies have a double cab version? I find that shocking.

Putco/Venture Tec MIGHT have it, but I'm still waiting to hear back if it's indeed full length. They have options to select bed length and even go up to the 8 foot, so I'm hopeful.

I was looking at cali raised, but I've seen some reviews of DC owners returning them because they don't go all the way to the front box wall.

Yeah you would want them full length. It's too bad I think cali raised has the best. I absolutely love mine.

I really wish they had one. Putco is BANK. almost 900 for both sides and over a G for the whole box. Still haven't heard back. My chat with them went unanswered and timed out.

Some prices are ridiculous. Hence, I'm designing and making my own. I have access to waterjet and press break shop.

    Uhm... Yes? Ish?

It doesn't use the t-slot rails so there's room on top for them, but aside from that, I'm not really sure why they're mid 400s a side. Made in USA, but so are the majority of them. It's aluminum, so that might be the big cost factor.

If you wanna make a full length for a DC, I'll buy them. I guess just need to figure out the mounting situation.

Aluminum might be why actually. Not worth it for a couple pounds savings.

That's what I'm thinking as well. Might just roll with a short one. I need something to put mounts on, so the market pressures again.

I have one from Victory 4X4. They want $279.00 for one. I attached mine to the bed rail. I do wish the cab end would go to the floor like the tailgate end. But I’m happy with it. I don’t have any good photos of it, but you can see it on their website.

I'm assuming you have a crewmax with the short bed. I was looking at the Victory panels, but they do not go all the way to the front of the bed. Someone asked in their Q&A section and was told it does not go all the way forward.

I have a double cab. Your right, it doesn’t go all the way to the front. For me, I’m ok with that.

That is the reason I do not have any in my CM, the prices are insane. Wish I had that access, good for you!

How bad is it? Do you have a picture handy?

Those look cool, but I'm not seeing any bed side molle panels.

OGFAB does not make much for a 2.5Gen CM. I would really love to get my hands on one of the attics so I can test fit in mine with a moonroof. Really miss my attic that I had in my LandCruiser

Heard back from Putco. Looks like they have what I need. There’s a small gap at the front, but not what it would be if it was a short bed product. Rip wallet.

So what's the damage gonna be out the door? The small gap in front is prolly so you can put a panel behind the cab

I was considering that small accessory mount... still might be a solid option.

I would like to put a 20lb propane tank mount on it. I will not be using the panels to support the weight of the tank though. The tank will sit on the floor and the mount would just keep it from moving around. I was considering using 2 wall mount cradles attached to the panel. The other thing is a firepit. Same situation again. I'd just use some molle hooks for ratchet straps.

Bout 450 a side. Going to start with one. Not sure I'll do both sides yet. Probably in the future though, but I am saving for a retractable tonneau cover bars. Would like to put my bikes and kayak on the bed bars, while keeping the bed covered for things like a cooler, bags, propane tank, fire pit, storage boxes etc. Not going broverland. Just need some weekend-warrior capabilities.

Watching the video only the top of that Rago bracket has hardware and the bottom of it just rests against the bedside. I do not see how that could securely hold a 20lb propane tank. Maybe I am wrong

I have the Rago mounts and they were used to keep my battery box in place. I changed that up and will now use them to keep my diesel heater and other things secured. They work pretty well.

Well, this may have been a useless exercise in the end. I am planning on getting a retractable tonneau cover, like Retrax or Roll-n-lock. The size of canister would make most of the extra front of a full size panel worthless. Looks like I'll need to use the CM panels to leave room for the retractable tonneau cover canister. ooops.
