Anyone ever removed the dash top tray?

I looking to remove the tray behind the display where the 12VDC aux port in located. Looks like it should pop loose but don't want to break it.

Look through this thread. Around post #75 there is discussion of removing that tray by prying up the "front" (but they don't specify the front from where they are vs front of the truck).

I did the back charging project and to answer your question, the tray just pops up when you pull it. I believe it's 4 clips

 

Pull up on the edge closest to the video screen and tilt up as the Cig plug prevents the back from coming up. I put in the ICS-fab dash mount and that's how I was able to do it.
