    Quick question: is she a car enthusiast? If the answer is no, NEVER give parts as a gift. Doesn't matter if it's an amazing upgrade. Doesn't matter if it solves a complaint she had with the vehicle. NEVER. Those are just things you should take care of as saved up expenses, and gifts need to be something she wants. Needs should be met without gift funds being put toward them.
