    Just watched The Guilty. If you really like Jake Gyllenhaal face on your screen, in close up, for freakin' 1.5 hours showing off how moody his acting can be then this is the movie for you. (this is not meant to be an endorsement.)

    Yeah, not a fan.

    But DC hasn’t had my interest for a long time. I mean there maybe have been a few decent ones the past few decades but I just feel they are trying too hard on multiple aspects with a poor execution in dialogue/ story line etc.

    I want to like DC and what they are trying to accomplish, but let down over and over.

    i keep watching stuff - not in theater, but hope they can catch some sort of stride.

    Worst acting. The Rock was pitiful.
    Worst storyline... There was none.
    Worst characters... Token out of the hat meh at best.
    My wife and both stopped watching it and literally said "This is the worst, stupidest, horrible movie. Shut it off!"
    Just horrible. Lol

    I feel the same and still continue to hope that DC will pull through. What's good are just one-offs really, and there's no cohesiveness. And there's too much emo-ness. Although I still argue that Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are the cream of the crop of Superhero films, but there's really not much else for DC apart from the recent Batman film, Synder's Justice League (which doesn't do much for the DC universe), the first Wonder Woman, and the best Superman is still from 1978.

    And I still haven't watched Black Adam yet. I've lost interest after seeing it get the boot for any future installments.

    I'm also actually glad Cavil is out. Yeah, he looks the part as Supes, but I didn't think there was anything super with what he brought to the character.

    I want DC to be great, but I'm just left feeling blah more often than not. I hope whatever Gunn and Safran have lined up will breath new life into the DCEU.

    A Christmas Story Christmas
    Didn't know if I was going to like this movie, so I put it on while wrapping presents to bring on the spirit. Definitely not the classic original, but it had many good moments and overall good story so, I'd recommend it.

    Sucks, starting to feel sick, sore throat and body aches. There goes my week. I had plans to go riding every morning this week. I caught covid last year same week and sat on my arse watching movies. Guess I'm doing the same the rest of the week... <sigh>
