Hi, just bought a nice 2008 Crewmax Limited. It was used as a highway traveller for a local business, so the odo reads high, but it's been well maintained and treated kindly. Im pretty sure that at least a few mods are on the way so I will keep the members posted.

    True. I'm a transplanted BC'er. Holberg & Winfield.

Dad is military, so we moved around and they retired here.

Speaking of Bring Cash, welcome from the west side of the hump. :)

‘08’s are the best ones too. Any first-year bugs were corrected, and the penny pinchers hadn’t started “watering down the juice” yet.

Your stick poking isn't going to get much response from me - I spent a good part of my childhood is Neepawa Manitoba and it's still the best place I have ever lived in Canada. I'm planning to retire in the next few years and I have a nice parcel of land in a tropical location ready. The day after I retire I will be leaving the -40C winters for good and flying out with a big grin on my face. :plane::wave:

Yep! I lived in Grande Prairie a few years back in the 80's...... it was a hoot, and the stories I have from there amaze my kids hehehe. It was quite a wild town back then.

Don’t think I’ve seen any saskatoon berry products for sale around here, but we do have wild bushes around. If it’s a rainy and cooler year picking can be pretty good, and if it’s a hot dry spring / early summer, they’re shrivelled with the texture of sawdust before they ever ripen.

When the berries are good though, my favourite pie hands down.

GP is home to me now. It still has its wild side but it has calmed down quite a bit. Lots of young families putting down roots here.

I think the Tundra hobby is as far as I dare go. :ballchain:

My truck's last owner used it for highway miles with his business trips so it's in nice shape... but I'm already itching to get a wrap
done to give it a fresh look.
