Congrats man!! Jealous, that’s where I’d love to move. Wife is from there but her family moved out this way, so we’ll be here for a while. I still keep asking if she’s ready every couple of months.. :boink:

Nice, where are you at right now? We've been talking about moving here for the past 15 years. We had a nice spot over in Clackamas where our house backed up to the Clackamas river and we were in such a perfect location. We have a 2 year old and 6 month old now and all their cousins are in tricities so we made a decision to move and we figured if we didnt push our selves now then it would probably never happen. Definitely excited as I've been in Portland my entire life (36 years) and it just ain't what it used to be anymore.

(2021 TRD Pro) AMP Steps, Ceramic Tint 5/20/70 windshield, Kilmat floor, doors and rear with Audiofrog/Arc audio/JL speaker upgrades and factory HU. AJT blackout. Ironmax4x4 Raid bumper with 10w amber work lights and 32" light bar. Rago dash setup with Bulletproof phone mounts. VLEDs interior kit with front and rear footwell lighting. X2Power AMG 27F.
Abandon in place, or remove. Fielder's choice! Just disconnect the speaker and do as you wish.

For context, I did that initially. Then when I ordered my whole setup from JRT I just abandoned everything in the dash unhooked and in place. It really does cause nothing but problems from an audio perspective. Vehicles are already difficult audio beasts; firing at the windshield in-between stereo sources does nothing to help the imaging.

HIREV tail lights. These things look amazing.

Also bought the 3rd brake light from them, but realized I don’t want to go through the hassle of changing it out on a DC. If I had a CM, then maybe…. They charge a restocking fee, so I’ll probably be selling it on here for $65 shipped

I’ve never been a fan of the aftermarket tail light options but these are awesome.

Thanks. I tried a cheap Amazon set and 2 different Winjets, but they all hyperflashed on me. I had given up, because I absolutely was not going to pay $500 for tail lights. That’s until I stumbled on these in a thread on this forum somewhere. These are amazing and no hyperflash.

I've been wondering about this. This is my first vehicle with a centre speaker. I don't need 200 speakers in my truck. Instead give me four and a sub that are dialled in. I know car audio is tricky. Tiny area, super-reflective glass all around, then there's the part where you sitting to the front left on the cab. But anyways, I found your thread and will take it in later.

Yeah all I had done from tech12volts from James everything Arc audio. Dual subs and doors and sound deadening with Rockford DSR1 and 1100 watt amp kicking it. Had my installer do it.

I have the stock stereo, speakers, etc. I just want my stereo to be louder. What's the most simple mod I can do to achieve that? I prefer not to install new head. I'm just thinking maybe I can add an amp or two. Anyone know the best way to achieve just having it louder?

as it stands now, I can turn it up full power and it's still tolerable on the ears.

Power steps, tonneau cover, blacked out badges, custom under rear seat storage, mirror covers, 2017 Trd pro color matched grill, plasti-dipped rims and bumpers. Trail grid pro FRAC, Start-x remote starter, Loncky leather steering wheel, leather shift knob. Painted cup holder-gear selector trim. Desert eagle off road cat shield, skid plate. Yitamotor floor mats. Calipers painted black. Kenwood amp, pioneer dash tweeters, infinity rear door speakers and tweeters. De-badged, Trd rear sway bar, ham radio antenna. Half console safe. Kenwood DMX1057XR. CDT 6x9’s. Sound deadening on doors.
I wasn’t going to do anything to my SR5 (non JBL) stereo. Then I read someone mention replacing the dash tweaters with pioneer excelons, “pop the cover, two bolts, plug and play, for 59 bucks and makes a big difference”. It certainly did, it also pointed out the shortcomings of the rest of the system. I couldn’t hear the rears at all, so, replaced those, made a slight difference. At this point I was given a ten year old alpine amp, just installed it, sounds great, so much more control, but, I’m now aware that it needs a sub-woofer. Oh well, it’ll give me something to do in the spring.

Waiting for these to cure after shooting them with rustoleum safety red professional enamel. Very pleased with the results.
Ignore the poorly painted bracket between them.

We’re just down south of Portland and we’ve loved it so far, definitely different for me. We almost decided to move over to the tri cities a couple of months ago, but proximity to family is what kept us here. Sounds like y’all had a great setup, but there’s a lot to be excited about over there! So much BLM within reasonable driving distance, great upland bird and waterfowl hunting, solid fishing, and pretty defined seasons. I loved our time out there and hope we can make our way back at some point.
