Anyone else waiting 6 months for a second fob?

Just wondering if im the only one waiting

 

Haha, no there are a few 23 owners like me who just got one fob and a key. We will get the second fob soon enough.

There are quite a few - I'm one.

 

Bought 12/8 and only got one fob. When Toyota sends me the 2nd it better come with some free goodies

Dec 15 purchase of a 23 and one fob. I agree there better be something else in the package to make up for the inconvenience especially if it requires a trip to the dealership to program.

The salesman gave us two fobs and acted really surprised that there was two! We thought of course a vehicle comes with two.
After joining tundras.com we realized we we super lucky who knew

 

Picked up the Tundra yesterday. Got two fobs. Sales guy only had one. The paperwork person in the back had the other.

 

2023 Platinum Hybrid and I receieved 1 key fob and 1 metal key for a second fob. Has anyone been told by their dealer when to expect the second key fob?

 

I was told 2-3 weeks wait for the second fob.

 

Didn’t k iw anything about this. Got min in August with one FOB. Is there any documentation on how to get the extra FOB?

 

I'm in the same boat, bought my truck 12/6 and was told today by the dealership I bought from, no ETA at all.

 

Waiting on 2nd fob. Took delivery of my Tundra on 11/12 and was told by my dealer yesterday that for whatever reason some customers waiting took weeks while others wait for months and unfortunately there isn't a means (e.g. ph #) to contact Toyota for status.
I'm told delivery is USPS and my concern is that mail theft is common in my community. So, USPS have my address and keys to my new truck in the driveway if they were so brazen. Admittedly not likely but...

 

Honestly, I don't think the dealers have a clue about the second key fob. I don't think they know when we will get it and they don't know how we will receive it. They will tell customers anything. Sad!!

 

I am guessing 1 fob with the 23 is the norm and not the exception?

mine is a 22 but this thread was interesting to read…I wonder what gives?

 

Why do you need more than one key fob?

 

I don’t know about the other folks on here but in my household we have 2 drivers…would be a major inconvenience to have to ‘coordinate’ around 1 key fob.
