Only on the passenger side, which correct me if I'm wrong was concluded to be the leaner running side since the driver's side is fed first?

Hard to say if I'd keep the 2.0 if I lived lower... It seems like the failure mode is prolonged heat, so doing stop light or highway pulls is probably fine even if it's a lot more often if you lived down there. I suspect it's still very reliable how I drive it, even if it made 11psi every day of the week.

Though I would step up the injectors if I lived lower, initially I was shooting for 10.5 AFR but that was bouncing around a bit to 10.7-11 so I richened it out to further to like 10.2 just so I had some buffer on my 10.5 target. The injectors are at 95% consistently, so that would be the biggest issue to address. And as we know tuning is critical, I think the tune is pretty safe right now after a lot of tweaking and I am very liberal about dumping fuel. At the end of the day this is still my primary daily and tow vehicle too :D

The 2.0 is very nice for things besides WOT too, normal driving around it's very noticeable since there is a lot of boost available at relatively low throttle. The truck rarely needs to downshift since it just lets more boost in and has good acceleration unless you want it to drop a gear. It doesn't feel like it's lacking on power and needs to rev out for everyday things like passing people which is nice.

Whatever this forum told me to do
That TRX sounds like the Trans is keeping the RPM's right in the sweet spot. hard to beat that.

I saw in the comments of another trx video that is has a mode called “torque reserve” or something. It basically lets you build up to 4psi of boost for the launch. The TRX is just a brute out of the hole. It’s fast on a roll too, but most of its advantage is out of the hole I believe.

That’s the sweet spot of the SC tundra. 85% of the power and straight line performance of the TRX, but the best part is it’s a Toyota and not a Ram so it’s something worth owning long term. I think I’m ok with being a little slower than an 90k truck with questionable reliability.

That how I look at it. A 5 second truck and reliable daily driver.

Without great tires for grip anything outside base settings can get squirrely under the wrong conditions with RWD. Crap, I even break traction in 4WD at times or at speed. I still haven't settled on replacement tires but still have life in these AT2 ( I fucking hate them).

I’m looking forward to hearing your opinion and experiences of this blower. I don’t know of any active users on here with a Whipple.

Could be better. Will go back and clean up some of the over spray, and maybe a little q-tip paint touch-up. Used Krylon Farm & Implement: International Harvester Red Gloss Enamel

To the Harrop crowd, what boost psi are you reaching and what pulley do you have installed?

I recently installed my Innovate PSB-1 AFR and boost gauge and observed a peak of 8.8 psi on stage 1 85mm pulley. Curious if this is a common or is it just a tiny boost spike that doesn’t reflect reality? And I’m around 300-500 feet elevation.

    66F5C13B-CE2F-4740-BD11-EADF2B37C065.jpg

And yes I just drilled a giant hole in the dash to run the cables for this gauge. I didn’t want the gauge on the pillar and I already have my Scangauge mounted on the steering column. This is my daily/work truck/ 2 kiddo car seat commuter so I dont want to have a gauge flashing in my peripheral vision all the time.

I'm also curious. I installed a 75mm pulley with Prospeed's 4.5 intake. Curious what kinda boost I'll see.. I'm close to sea level

My particular AEM gauge only reads in whole numbers. That said it would flash 7 psi with the 85mm, and flashes 8 psi with the 80mm.

    Added money to it.
I have the 75mm with the maggy box. I’ll max out at 12psi at 653ft above sea level.

Whatever this forum told me to do
my 85mm pulley was a smooth 6.3-ish on the dyno @ Peitz Performance.

    D3 said the 80mm was ~8-ish.

My boost gauge is still on my workbench....next to the catch can.

I wonder if how free flowing the catback exhaust is can effect the boost numbers one would read, or if the exhaust only effects boost with changes to headers/cats.

Im running a Maggy with the stock pulley i see usually high 8 psi and a few times it has said low to mid 9 psi peak. I think its just a quick spike though as its consistent high 7's at wot. I have the same PSB-1. IMG_9030.jpg

And i love the PSB-1 and where it's mounted. I can see it perfectly even in strong sunlight. Not that is necessary but i love the built in shift light too. I wish i knew about it when i was doing gauges in my camaro. IMG_9001.jpg

That spot looks really clean too. I'm a short dude and idk if it's just me but the A-pillars on this truck are HUGE. If I pull up to a stop sign, it's hard to see if anyone is at the crosswalk. I'm always leaning forward to look around it lol
