Has anyone seen their hybrid battery charge indicator at full capacity? Mine has never been more than one bar from full charge. I don’t think anything is wrong, just curious if it’s “one of those things” that they all do.

It's normal. It's never fully charged or discharged to preserve the battery.

It is like a goal of mine too to see it at full charge. But so far highest has been one bar from full charge here too.

I found when in Tow/Haul mode mine seemed to stay at a higher state of charge. IIRC I saw it on full when in Tow/Haul down a hill like @DexterL and @GG.Offroad noted.

Its just a hybrid quirk. I drove a Prius for years and the only time it was full was if I put it in "engine brake" mode and coasted down a hill.

I have. It was only at full for maybe 15 seconds though. It has never gone below 5 bars either.

I've seen it fully charged many times.
    These trucks have regenerative breaking.
Long periods of downhills and braking will bring the charge all the way to the top.

man, with Hawaii traffic and me rarely driving over the mountain to the other side of the island, I have never seen more than 3 bars from full. And I get as low as 2 bars at times. I will stay constantly at 3-4 bar range to and from work.

Well being a flatlander from Florida excludes me from being a member of the “full charge” club by the sounds of it.
