Went to Lake Wenatchee state park. Nothing fancy other than the $25 parking pass I had to buy. I buy a WA state park pass every year then those asshats charge a special “sno-pass” if I want to the park for sledding or x-country skiing.

I read that notice the first time as it could watch any of my typing with any keyboard. Looking at it again it assumes it is only the giphy…still seems sketch

@NWPirate went to Leavenworth to get dinner and see the lights. Holy chit it was crazy. Not normal crazy…Rolling Stones doing a free concert and everyone gets a dime bag crazy. Zero parking anywhere. There was a 3 mile line of cars coming from your side of the mountains. Enough people to fill the town and it was already full!

We blasted thru and hit up Wendy’s in your neck of the woods for dinner.

Already blasted home actually. Got dinner, fueled the beast and drove Blewett to I-90. Was 45 minutes shorter than doing the crawl into Leavenworth. Had some huge temps swings on the way home…good luck!

Define truck stuff. I'll take it on some travels for visiting friends/family, but for actual camping, hauling the RZR, or off road stuff.... that may take a while. Still need to cut the rack down to fit the Taco bed, and the RTT is currently sitting in a buddy's storage unit several hundred miles away. Logistics are a b*tch.

The tailgate handle on my '08 broke today, so I was just looking online for a new handle. Found what looks to be a decent US made (non OE)for about $45 shipped; that doesn't seem bad.

 

Yeah, 300 miles one way. I needed help to get the tent off and I was visiting him, so we popped it off at his storage unit. I visit often enough I can get it back pretty easily.


Bummer on the handle. Is there a reason you aren't going OEM? Are they super spendy?

 

First OE one I found was $145, but I just found an OE one on Ebay for $20 shipped... sold!!! I usually try to do OE, but sometimes when you are on the toyota parts website, the damn part#s and descriptions are always real clear....

 

Ah, yeah. I miss @Roman a bunch when it comes to trying to decipher parts lists and diagrams.

Sterile? That's awful personal at 4 in the morning. Honestly, I never know. Nothing is planned, but if SHTF I get to jump through hoops. I sure hope not. I'm sans caffeine and I really just want it to be quiet for the last 2 hours.

How about you? Why are you up so late? Important/fun things going on, or just some shitty insomnia?

 

Nah... I've always been a graveyard person. I usually go to bed 0200-0300 (I think we are an hour behind you), and then up between 9-1030ish.. I tried to do the dayshift thing, and I just can't. I'm tried throughout the day when I get up early (no matter how much I slept).

 

Well, time for me to crash. I hope your shift is quiet, but you find something to keep your brain occupied till you're off. Have a good night/morning!!!
