    Couple easy jobs
    1. Had put bed rails on. Today added six tie downs. My thinking is to semi-secure the big cleats that came with rails by placing them between tiedowns each end. At least the tiedowns need a tool to remove, maybe keep the cleats from walking away in a parking lot. To be honest, I wouldn't miss the cleats, big and clunky, might just replace with 4 more tiedowns

    2. Saw idea in a thread on here, little light above mirror folding switch. The one I found has two lights, I planned to put second in console. Planned to cut lights from plug and wire them under dash. But when received, discovered that plug also has a light (with switch). So decided to use that light in console socket, put second small light in glovebox. Made project easy - ran wires over lip, down through shift area, up into dash, out to each side. A nice 8 buck improvement.

Yeah I saw that deal. I just couldn’t justify buying that many boxes. I did end up buying the 3/8 12 volt ratchet because they forgot to change the price tag on one of those buy a tool get free battery deals. So basically they mark up the price on a tool and say it’s on sale with a free battery. They just forgot to change the price on the ones on another shelf. The Milwaukee rep happen to be assisting me at Home Depot. He was showing me this special sale when I asked him why was the same tool cheaper on the other rack. Lol. He had to walk up to the register an get them
to charge me a lower price and I still got the free battery. It pays to look around sometimes. If I worked in any kind of trade type job I’d definitely buy all in on that pack out system. I have a lot of tools but it’s all for personal use around my shop.

Smartcap EVO shell, Rail system, bed cover, ceramic tint including windshield, tinted headlights and tail lights, full time gps alarm system with dash camera front and rear, bull nose for front, debating rear bumper, waiting on long gun locker for under rear seat with seat rail mods to sit flush and not raise back seat, Pedal Commander ordered as well as fender flares and tinted film for front logo and led conversion lights for all interior lights
I'm kinda going all in on them right now for the reason of I need portable boxes for when I go to the rifle club with all my stuff, scopes, tools, mags, ammo etc etc etc.... but also with all the electrical stuff I play with between cars and jet ski and home I need some smaller containers to organize everything but I saw they come with a roller so i'm thinking rolling tall organizer at home and take the parts I need when I go do stuff, we all find what works for us, and my garage is a full on workshop at this point so being able to roll everything around is a HUGE must, i'm kinda ridiculous when it comes to DIY at this point, newest thing i'm learning is Cerakote at home .... i'm hopeless but I accept it

Busy day today. Removed Valhalla cat plates. Then, drained and replaced differential fluids front and back, drained and replaced transfer case oil, and transmission drain and fill. Gotta put the cat plates back on tomorrow. Whew!

I didn’t like those big cleats. I put a bunch of the small ones like you got. I wish they did not make those cleats so big. The rail doesn’t seam that strong anyway by the way it flexes.

It’s an addiction. I have a tool fetish myself. I built myself a personal machine/fabrication shop. Its my fortress of solitude. I spend about 75% of my time in my shop when I’m not offshore at work. I’m the type of person that has to be working on or learning something new all the time. I spend most of my time working on my tools and building out my shop. I love finding a good deal on a machine or tool and restoring it. I’ve been getting a lot of stuff cerakoted lately by a local guy. I’m definitely going to get set up to do that. It’s really a simple process. Just got to find a good deal on a sand blasting cabinet. If you haven’t found a good blasting cabinet yet I found a website that sells upgrade kits that make cheap Harbor Freight blast cabinets work really good. Not having a blasting cabinet is the only thing holding me up from doing cerakote. Ive got every thing else. I’m going to use the air cure type. My guy said that it is actually tougher than the bake on. He does both air cure and bake on but for stuff that get a lot of use like guns he uses the air cure type. Everything I’ve gotten done so far has been the air cure and I really like it. Just takes around 7 days to cure to full hardness.

What camera do have. I want to get some cameras but can’t make up my mind. That plug is nice.

First time doing all fluids? It seems like all on here are doing them at different intervals.

20-30k is typical interval for differentials and 60k for transmission, isn't it? I thought that's what I read on the 2.5gen anyway!

According to the service intervals, it does not state to “replace” oils at 30k. Believe 30k for diffs & transfer case seems a bit premature. But don’t plan to turn this into a back and forth.

Yes, it was the first time for all fluids. The front differential plug was covered in nasty black goop but the fluid was fairly clean. The rear differential plug had a couple of metal particles and the fluid was dirty. The transfer case fluid was pretty clean. The ATF was pretty dirty. I didn't find consistent interval information but thought 60 was good. I also don't want to remove the cat plates again for a while.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! I can understand that, that’s quite a job I can imagine. Don’t have any on mine yet, but plan to at some point in the future.

At least you don't have to remove the cat plate for anything except the transmission service in another 60k!

just a cheap simple one in truck that had in last truck. Hyperion, does the basic job and has ok phone app, not sure available anymore.

But for a recommendation - I put Viofo in our primary drive. Very happy with it. Not the top but great for price point. Link below is for dual but also available in front only
