Great, I'm coming out with magnetic shocks using Shungite pistons for perfect energy dispersion.
$2000.00 per wheel. You up for it?....................

You do the R&D, build it, test it, and showcase it at Sema like the 8112s, and I'll give it some thought

Can I get this coupon code for 4WP. I have been waiting for the 6112's but I might just get a set of these at that discount. Thanks

That was some 15% promo they were doing. Not going on right now but they are currently doing a 10% when you spend over $250

They’re in. Never a walk in the park lol. Ended up grinding the sway bar ends

Looks awesome! What height did you set them at? And why did you have to grind the sway bar ends? I never installed mine afterwards so I'm curious.

Grinded them for better clearance from the adjuster cup on the shocks. I just rounded the sharp ends

I put 70k on mine. No complaints for the money. Upgraded to these 8112s to match my ADS rear bypass and deavers.

Any real world feedback on these? Considering upgrading from 6112 to 8112.

Very good to know as I currently have 6612 but would you mind going into a bit more detail?

So before I go into the details, I had my front sway bar installed the entire time I had my 6112s. I took it off when I installed the 8112s, and never put it back on.

On road- the ride is more plush, not as stiff. Really soaks up any speed bumps or potholes.

Off road- really great! These shocks don't need bump stops or limit straps, so that's a huge plus. I've only done slow speed rock crawling and trail rides, and dropping off of ledges and rocks isn't nearly as jarring as the 6112s.

I have mine set to 3.25in of lift.

Thank you very much for the information. It certainly sounds like what I’m looking for as an upgrade over my 6112’s. What rear lift are you running? Do you feel as though the 8112 rear shocks have helped reduce bed hop? With 5160 rear and OME leaf spring pack my bed hop is awful!

I have 5160s in the rear and Dobinsons leaf springs. They lift it 2.1in, I've never had bed bounce before or after

Ah man, @Sumo91 you're one step ahead of me once again. I'm very jealous. On a 1-10/10 scale, how much of an improvement/value-add would you say these are over 6112's?

Well my next project will be DIY rock sliders if you wanna jump on that before I do :D

I'd say these are a solid 8/10 improvement over the 6112s for me personally. Some people may feel differently. Ride comfort aside, I really like not needing bump stops or limit straps. These also look badass. I wanna get the 8100s in the rear to match sometime this year or next

Has anyone heard anything about the 8112 DSA+ being released for the Tundra? Looks like it's available for the Tacoma and 4 Runner already.

This is the first I've heard of it. Seems pretty cool. I really wish they would release a 700lb coil. My front end sags from all the weight. Even with them set at 3.25in

    Eibach doesn't have them?

I've been reading your posts for awhile now, haha, I'm seriously considering upgrading from the 6112/5160 combo. I know if I do though, I'm going to end beating on this truck more than I should

I don't believe they make them for the 8112s. I called bilstein and they said they only offer the 650lb coils. I have a set of coach builder shims, but I'm hesitant to throw them on since bilstein recommends against it for some reason.

I'd call Eibach and see. That's who Bilstein gets the springs from anyway. They may have other off the shelf springs that will fit just fine. I really doubt Bilstein has their own spec spring. Obviously, I could be wrong.

I believe OME makes springs, too. But I really don't know much about them or what they offer.

I doubt the shims would help with the weight, anyhow. It's the spring that supports the weight.
I guess you'd get a bit extra lift, but you really need the heavier spring.

Most of my suspension knowledge comes from Motocross and mountain bikes, so it may not crossover much, haha.

I'd definitely go the spring route first. I'm not a fan of shims or spacers. Its a last resort thing. Just something to get the front end up a touch more. The ride quality is great though, at least I think so.
