Front diff and transfer case vents are under the hood, on the driver side. You may have a compromised hood seal, or something, so cabin air intake ingests some of the fumes.

I have 2021 sr5 crewmax and couple months ago I smelled the similar smell ( more like sulfur smell to me) in the cab for a short time and the outside of the truck driver side rear door right where bed starts. Didnt smell it again in the cab but every now and than I smell outside around same spot. Since its not constantly everyday smell didnt worry about it. Every tundra has its own weird acts lol. Just like what I posted about lights on steering wheel controls.

Hot brake smell from a sticking caliper, or a parking brake dragging? I know, should be too new for that, but…

I'm familiar with stinky brakes. This ain't it. I'd expect, at least, a little smoke from the brakes after driving for about an hour too.

I'll take a gander at the brake pads though. Very easy check.

Maybe... But I'm not seeing any leaks anywhere. @vtl suggested transfer case venting or leak. I have to check on that.

Some oils are just smellier. I remember Amsoil ATF, its unbearable stench... ;) Amsoil gear oil was also quite a bit heavier on my nose, IIRC.
