Hahahaha....I actually have a sister who lives in Fayetteville!...I don't get down there much at all, too busy, but she loves to rub it in when I'm buried under a foot of snow and she's sitting poolside...she never was my favorite sibling

2020platinum- by chance do you have a part number or exact name for the CBI bumper, I only see the ones with the bar up higher which I am not interested in, like the design of the one you have but I can not find it on their site. also did you post the you tube on this yet? Great looking truck!

    thanks

Looks like the CBI Covert bumper to me. Covert can be ordered with or without the extra bar on top.

That looks awesome, and I'm glad we're seeing some options for the DC! Have you seen anything out there for sliders for the DC? Also - on the bumper, I didn't see anything mentioned on CBIs site but does it have a spot for a front license plate? It's a dumb Washington requirement.

I'm also in WA lol. Idk I don't run my front plate (I accept the risk).

I'm working with CBI to develop DC sliders still. Been a long work in progress. I'm supposed to make another trip to Idaho Falls to finalize everything soon.

Awesome! Hope they release them! I hunt in Idaho every year, so ive thought about swinging by there. It's also the reason I'm looking at a metal bumper, I hit a deer there in November and don't want to mess with that again - the plastic bumper is not very stout at all.

I have seen some winch fairlead mounts for license plates so that's an option. Looks a little goofy - but that just fits in with the rest of the mess that is Washington nowadays.

Thanks man, much appreciated!...yea it's the Covert bumper, when you select from drop down box just select "standard" and not the option with bar, hope that helps!

Had the Millercat cat shield installed at the the dealer. Upon completion I looked underneath, and noticed the recessed security screws were not flush but sticking out....the dealership mounted it upside down, lol. Had to have them remove it and install correctly.

Awesome video! Thx for posting it. Almost makes me think this is achievable on my own. Do you know if on the 1794 there will be any forward facing cameras or sensors that will have to be relocated or mounted?

A little cutting. a little drilling and some 4 lbs. sledge work and it fit :eek2::eek2::eek2: Sad to think they are working on our $70k trucks isn't it?

Today I had my Leer cap installed. I think I will like it. I got roof racks, side "Windoors", and the fold down slider in the front.

Thanks man, I appreciate it!...no sir, no cameras or sensors need to be moved...install is basically exactly the same as on my Pro, except you wouldn't have to worry about unplugging marker lights...hope that helps!

How is the TRD lift going over bumps compared to stock? Less harsh?

I have had the TRD lift for a few weeks now and tested it in a few different scenarios. The valving on the tuned Bilsteins in the lift is digressive, which means it will be harsher on small bumps and big hits, but better on handling and g-outs (helpful article on valving below). IMO it does handle and feel better than the stock OR suspension and looks great, but it is by no means cushy or soft. Hope this is a little helpful.

I agree. You definitely feel the little things like speed bumps, but it does feel like it has better articulation.
