    Hey peeps, I'm 8 pages behind on the thread..

    Just wanted to comment on something:
    Some of y'all brought up People's Choice beef jerky on the raffle thread.
    I had never heard of it and ordered 2 small bags to check it out, one of them was free with their promotion.

    They arrived a few days later and my first thought was how long is it going to take me to eat all this?
    I don't eat that much beef jerky.

    I tried the Cowboy Peppered and the Hot and Spicy.
    I ate them both in 3 days, almost the entire small bag of Cowboy Peppered in one sitting.
    Hot and Spicy isn't that hot and spicy, maybe if you're a Yankee, but it has a little kick to it.
    The Cowboy Peppered was efin' awesome, it was like brisket jerky..

    I bought my son-in-law a $50 gift certificate for Christmas.
    Bought my Dad a $50 gift certificate but I'm thinking about using it myself..:eek2:

    Anyway, I'll occasionally get one of the Jack Links packages in a gas station, but this is beyond that shit..
    It's delicious..

    Check it out if you're hankerin' for some beef...:thumbsup:

    I know pit boss isn’t a top of the line smoker, I don’t care, it smokes when I need it to. Except when it doesn’t; but their customer service and warranty is pretty awesome. I had little info for them other than model number and a made up date when I purchased it from them. New control board is on its way with no questions asked other than my address!!!!
    The cabinet probe has been reading 60 degrees higher than actual so it wants to act all funny heating and maintaining temps, and the overlay is peeling off the control panel. Dude said it’s probably all related to the peel on the control panel.

    Similar thing happened to my Louisiana Grills smoker. Same parent company, and they shipped out the new controller with me actually being a few months out of warranty. They’re based out of Phoenix. I’d definitely look at their stuff if I ended up needing to replace mine.

    I got it in June 2018, and I think it was a 3 year warranty on the LG side. Either way, they hooked it up so I can’t complain. And it works great now that I’m using the right pellets.
