I think you can twist out the socket piece from the back so the whole thing comes out, if not some folded duct tape or any strong tape. Fold it so sticky side of tape touched each side of bulb press the best you can and pull?? I think??;)

Twist the socket from the back side of the panel to remove it and then you will have a little more room. The bulbs pulls straight out from the socket.

I am glad it did, I assumed a 14 would be the same or close enough?:)

The footwell used the t5/ 74 sized led bulbs. I got some ice blue on Amazon to do my footwells and center console.

Interesting, my 14 platinum doesn't have the console light and not even sure it's got a passenger side footwell light.

Ohh no that’s all custom by me. It’s just the same size bulb I know that for sure. Replaced it and routed and installed my own blue ones for ambient lighting.

Can you please show some more pics of this mod? After having to work the other night(F-1shitty company truck) I kind of like the ambient lighting in it and would like to do something similar to what you've got in my tundra.

Sure! I bought an 10 pack of ice blue single leds on Amazon. Went through a few types actually to find a nice light blue that better matched the interior gauges. I soldered, wired and heat shrank a few singles and mounted them under the driver dash, passenger dash and under the radio soffit area- specially this area it pointed down and so I’d never see the bulb glare from the driver seat. I found interior light power from behind a blank switch I had near the tow haul botton- brown and gray wires. Tapped into that! And they come on and dim with the other interior lights! I plan to add more in the door pockets, glove box, center console and rear footwells below the front seat backs.
