Will do, although I must admit that I am a panzy when it comes to hot stuff so the answer will most likely be super hot

Just tried it on some cheese, a pleasant and unique flavor. Very sweet and then the underlying heat. In large quantities I know it would leave me hurting but I'm sure many people would be fine.

:p:p I was eager to try all the sauces and cheese is good for that because it lets the flavor of the sauce take center stage. THIS is breakfast today!

First day of a steroid series to try and get whatever tf is wrong with my foot under control. I should be tweaking like a crack head in the next 40 minutes or so, and the tinitis will go from a jet engine to a 5 day nuclear explosion. It'd be easier if I wasn't such a whiny little bitch about it.

Sorry to hear that man. Hope you get things under control. I'm a little baby when it comes to stuff like that too so no worries there.

Thanks. I think I'm making more of it than it really is. The internist was pretty quick to diagnose and prescribe. He seemed to want it to be gout, which was only a remote possibility anyway, and he moved to tendonitis really quickly afterward. I don't mind a steroid series every now and again - some insomnia and the aforementioned tinitis amplification that goes with it - but I'll be disappointed (mostly in myself) if I find out his diagnosis was in error and I should have gone to an ortho to begin with.

If this is the worst thing that happens this week, it'll be a pretty damned good week.

No clue. Woke up Thursday and couldn't put any pressure on the big joint of my big toe. It's highly likely not gout - no significant swelling, and except for walking it's not really sensitive. I'm leaning toward either a problem with my bone or ligaments, but the doc says it's that big tendon, so we'll go with that for now. I hope he's right.

We got a few piles (from wind) of snow up here....the airport has some strong winds where there is already 175 delays, and 50 cancellations. CO weather is so odd and varies city by city, and sometimes street by street.

And sometimes by the side of the street you live on, right? Don't the people with north-facing driveways get screwed since there's no sunlight to help melt the snow?

The driveway at my new house faces north east. I watched this last weekend and sun does not touch it all day long. I spent a few hours on Saturday scraping ice off the driveway while it was slightly above freezing outside.

We got some very localized snow last week. One of the strangest effects was on supplies of deicer and shovels. Hardware stores near snow were sold out but drive ten minutes and the next store looks like they haven’t sold a thing. Nuts

I’ve had more injuries from “doing nothing” the past few years than all of my teenage years. Growing old sucks.

Good luck and I hope things work out.

I’ll just go place some stuff on some land and claim it for you. Kind of like how people stand in parking spots in a busy parking lot.

The storm weather you all are experiencing was here on the coast last weekend. The mountains got a lot of snow for sure. We found some sun while taking our granddaughter out for a walk around a beaver pond. It was good to get out. 1153A01E-C002-4D6A-A9CD-9D3490CD5071.jpgF78C5CE1-38BF-404A-97AD-0111486600BB.jpg AC804FD7-554E-4F5D-8EDE-FDF3156F64DE.jpg
