I have been searching prices on 2.5 gen Tundras. The only thing I see is non modified stock trucks. Why do you think that is? What does that reflect on those that are modified? Are we hurting the value of our trucks?

Or that people take the mods off and return it to stock before selling the truck and mods separately

I spent a good portion of my working life in the car and motorcycle business, in the trade stock sells. As you make mods however good or bad you make the buying field smaller when it's time to sell.
Prospective customers in the used market generally buy a vehicle not modified over one that is. That's just how the market is.

I would also tend to think that those who modify their vehicles tend to hold onto them longer.

Think how many stock Tundra's there are compared to modified ones. This forum is not a good sample of Tundra owners since it's mostly Tundra enthusiasts are on here.

Yep. Do a social experiment and stop every Tundra driver you see and ask them if they're on Tundras.com. OH and check out if they're Tundra is modified and get the data.

Seems like every modified truck ends up on used car dealership lots here in the Phoenix area. These people install lifts too
