You'll need to contact your dealer for a permanent VIN. If the VIN has a letter in the last 6, that means it's temporary.

Behind the intermodal stacks are a bunch of auto racks full of Toyota trucks going to Spokane, WA and then on to Portland, OR.

Could I get an update? 5TFMC5DB4PX017354

Dealer keeps saying it should arrive any day and all I see is it is delayed on a train ride that should take less than a day, but by looking at others seems to take up to a month.

    Thank you!

@Coal Dragger: wow, this is a great picture. No doubt you are driving this train, cool :)

From the tracking on my truck it is going UP direct to Portland. I see BNSF on the engine of this train. Wonder if they go different routes or different train companies. Just curious.

But thanks for the picture, nice to see this in action.

We were stopped waiting on maintenance of way to clear up. Pretty sure Toyota uses whatever RR they can to move products at this point.

Plus for all I know it could have been Tacomas. I didn’t bother to go look and our paperwork doesn’t get into that much detail.

That train was a complete turd, so those trucks are getting to their destination late most likely.

I'm guessing my 1794 is on that train. It was in Silverbow MT this morning heading to Seattle it turns out. Then to the Toyota port operation in Portland. Yea, been in eastern ID/western MT for almost a week now. Glad that things are moving again. Thanks for your picture and keeping things going. I'm sure others are like me, like kids getting a great Christmas gift this year :)

    I work for BNSF.

That train was the Q-ALTPTLx-xxx (Alliance, TX to Portland, OR), not sure where it is today. Probably somewhere on Montana Rail Link, I don’t have their subdivisions on my train tracking.

The next Q-ALTPTL I see on our lineup is the 6-10A, and it just departed Childress, TX a few minutes ago. Be a day or two to get to Edgemont, SD for me or a colleague to run to Gillette, WY and give it to a Sheridan, WY crew.

Unfortunately the powers that be want us to go slow again to save fuel, so Q trains are back to being slow turds just like everything else that isn’t a Z9 moving cheap Chinese made shit from container ports on the west coast to Chicago for the peak Holliday season.

Thanks @bobbilly - appreciate you taking the time to look this up. Question: Is it possible (i.e. is there a site) to be able to actively track a particular train based on the information you have? Just curious.

One more time? Salesman said two different things. Delivery to dealership 12/13 but then said it should be on a truck 12/15?
