OK - I like Apple CarPlay. I'm the idiot that looks at his phone every time it beeps. Apple CarPlay is a huge step forward in eliminating Distracted Driving.

So - I just setup CarPlay on the 2023 Tundra. Now - I don't know how to back out of it, and mess with the radio, or use Truck Navigation. I can't even get CarPlay off the screen. It's like a one-way street. What gives?

Click your apps screen and then select the Toyota app.

Just a heads up to…if you go into your phone car play settings you can re arrange where the icons go. I moved the Toyota symbol to the left hand corner of the CarPlay screen. It makes it easier to find and hit quickly. That Toyota symbol unfortunately is your Home Screen button. It will get you back to your main Toyota screen.

So glad I ran into this post, as I was getting so frustrated trying to figure out how to get back to home screen.
