    2016 Tundra - 1794 Trim:

I've been looking for a passenger mirror replacement. I can't find an exact match. The closest I have found comes with the puddle light that my existing mirrors don't have. Is that going to be a problem? Will the puddle light work or will I just have to put the wiring off to the side? Thanks for any response.

I'm surprised that your 1794 doesn't have puddle lights. I thought they all did. Were they added at some point after 2016?

It won't be a problem per se, but the puddle light probably won't work with existing wiring. If you want the puddle light to work, then you'll have to draw out an extra wire to power that with the cargo lights (not hard but not super easy either). In my experience, connectors between the model years are the same, they may just be missing 1 or 2 pins inside the connector.

If you have any interest in adding a set of trailering mirrors, I just took a factory set off my '18 Limited. They are just heated with the slides and extra running light. Not perfect since they were on my truck for 4 years, but good condition...I just prefer the way the standard mirrors look. $50 + shipping? I'm in central Alabama. They are this style.

My 2014 1794 has puddle lights.

Alternatively, I may be interested in these, at which point mine would become available.
