I’ve got full coverage. But I’m not willing to deal with increased rates

Poor timing but this is my solution to the bed mat problem. The grey thing.

Thanks, did that when I did the liner 2 years ago, just an Ebay special. So far so good on it! My OEM one the bulbes had melted the lense and since i took EVERYTHING apart to Monstaline was a no brainer.

Let a single person on this forum say this isn't their biggest fear.

On the plus side, there's a shitload of bondo on the old door, so at least you'll be getting a fresh, bondo-free one to replace it? Trying to be positive here, but shit sucks all-around on this here.

The bondo was light on that door because of the holes being plugged for the door molding. Sadly I won’t be able to avoid that unless I can find a non molding door

That really sucks. Your truck was a shining example of unicorn restomod FGT greatness. One of my favorites on here. So much so I bought a cement 2.5G.

Ok, the last part was a reach, but really sorry about your truck. Hope it buffs out.

I don’t want rotted parts. So fantastic. I’m going to have to try and find clean solid pieces and hope they survive shipping

    They’ve just been removed.
On the trucks that were sold with the small chrome flare trim pieces, the flares can be removed and there are no holes (like the one in your link) because it’s just adhesive holding them on. The trucks with the bigger paint matched flares (like @alb1k pictured above) will show holes when the flares are removed. I had the small chrome ones and removed them, but then decided to cut em like @alb1k is doing now. How much you cut off Erik? I went 2 inches. Can we just be honest and say this is part of the process to get to fiberglass?
I’ve been thinking about cutting my bedsides loose from the bed and pushing them out, with an added strip of sheet metal to bridge the new gap and keep the wheel well complete. Having a hard time smoothin out that dent anyways. No, it won’t buff out:annoyed:

Oh. Gotcha. Those waltrip fenders are king tho. Never noticed em before either. It’s too bad there are so very few of those around.

Just search 10 different wording combos until the right parts show. Google, and all the online swap meets are very word sensitive. Door, door panel, door assembly, left hand, drivers side, etc. different terms and combo of those terms yields different results. Sometimes doing a Google search and going through the images instead of the websites yields better results.

Ironically, I need drivers front and rear AC doors post deer strike years back. Wish I could find them in Thunder Grey Mettalic to save the paint work.

I’m dying to remove my chrome flares. I’ve had bushwackers in a box for 2 years now. They look decent. Better than chrome and hopefully done require holes.

@empty_lord Happy to pick some up for you here in Texas with no rust. Can figure out buddy system maybe to get them to you. I don't think shipping would be worth the risk.

Mine are .75-1.5" I tried to follow original lines as much as possible. And yes, I've had it in the back of my head that cutting them was no big deal because I may replace them with glass anyway, lol.

You know he wants a frame. I want the bench seat and bed (to build a camp trailer). Unless t2 needs it, but he could have the tailgate.
