Hey Bobbilly, i appreciate what you're doing here. I'm in a similar situation to a lot of the people here, but the vehicle i'm waiting on is a Tacoma.
It was originally predicted to arrive on October 18th, but that day the dealer told me it was delayed.
They said that on October 24, the status changed to "Rail Arrive" and since then, every week the estimated delivery time has just updated to be another week away.
For weeks now, i've been looking at different forums, posts, groups, etc and seeing the speculation that the delays are due to a rail strike, trucker shortages, etc.
Out of frustration, i've finally decided to create an account and post here to see if maybe you can check on the VIN and possibly shed some light on what's causing the delay?
The dealer has been very helpful and i don't blame them at all, but they don't seem to know the reason for the delay.
I just wish i knew what was causing it, for example if the train car is still waiting to be unloaded, or if there haven't been enough truckers to transport it, etc.
Here's what i know:
-It seems to have arrived at Selkirk railyard

I'd be very interested to know when yours departs the railyard. My Tacoma has been sitting at the same railyard, Selkirk, for a month and a half now...

Do you mind looking it up one more time whenever you get a chance, please? It's been at the railyard for some time, with the estimated delivery getting pushed day-by-day. However, I called the dealer today and they are now saying it's on the truck, expected to arrive at the dealership tomorrow or day after. Just want to verify from your end

Yup, looks like it should be at the dealer shortly. I've seen where it says at the dealer but doesn't show for a day or two.

Oh man - only a little bit after I called the dealership and after my post, they call me saying it was just delivered.

Too bad I'm not free to pick it up until Friday; Thursday is about to be one of the longest days of my life lol. I shouldn't be complaining though----put the deposit down last Friday and truck already delivered on Wednesday.

Hopefully you aren't waiting for the body side moldings too long. Seems to be the hold up on most platinums.

 

lol they moved the build date again, was 11/24 --> 12/7 --> 12/8
