I replaced my door actuator, and possibly the cable became detached at the actuator trying to maneuver it into position. But, it could be a bad actuator on the opening side. Obviously can’t get the door open both sides and not able to get the door panel off. Any advise on how to get to the latch or get the door open. My remote works , but the latch is still not releasing.

Welcome here! Check out the forum search box. Seen this here somewhere but can't remember the exact solution. Good luck!

Always trip the latch with your finger before you close the door and then test that the latch unlocks. Did you carefully insert the silver rod into the lever on the door latch mechanism? I don’t believe the door card can be removed with the door shut. You may be able to reach the lever with a slim Jim.

Also recommend using OEM actuator mechanism only. Some of the aftermarket parts are poorly made
