1794 Grill on my 2023 SR5 TRD Off Road

I guess being old(er) puts me in the minority regarding blacking everything out. I much prefer the look of the chrome grill vs. black. Was able to purchase a 1794 grill and the piece that goes under it, and install them on my truck. Thanks @Adam_1794

I agree. I think that it needs a little chrome on the front. If you black out the logo, it leaves a big black hole. The chrome T breaks up the grill a bit. I too have an MGM and will not black out the front since it needs that extra something. If I were to do something, it would be black chrome all the way around.

 

I have MGM as well, I did black out the emblem just so I could have it painted MGM along with the piece that says TUNDRA across the front. Pictures don't do it justice.

 

I want the Chrome grille for my Limited too. Did you buy yours from someone on this site? Or did you buy new?
If NEW, how much did it cost? And do you have the Part Numbers?

Came across a couple color matched 3rd gens on the forums. Would agree a small amount of chrome adds some class. Not talking autozone special rather a couple accent pieces here and there.

 

I like it much better. I know the trend is blackout, but it was just too much for me. It looked to me like a large mouth bass lining up to gobble a frog....

The day I get a call to pick up my truck will be the day I remove my black chrome 3-piece surround from my Platinum. I already have the color matched parts....just need the truck.
